Cody's dad is wrong. Obviously the spirit was trying to be helpful. I had a similar experience except it was the night before my first day at my first job. I had forgotten to set my alarm and so did my female roommate. No men lived with us and we were in 2 different rooms. We BOTH heard a soft male voice say "wake up, you're going to be late," at which point we both woke up. I had 20 minutes to get to my new job, thank goodness I had a bike. And to this day, thank you dude, whoever you were.

the "presents" the person found where they had left scraps for the animals, was not paranormal, Crows do that for people they take a liking to. They appreciated the food you left.
I just wanted to say how much I have been enjoying your narrations. I prefer male's voices, not sure why but I think it just has to do with the lower, sort of deeper voice of male narrator. Now don't get me wrong, there are a lot of male narrators I don not like, lots lol (I have tons of these channels as I have insomnia and anxiety and listen to scary ONLY scary stories every night to go to sleep) I could never get into the groove with female narrator's I believe it's cuz , well the ones i'v ran into, their voice are too high pitched, a bit annoying UNTIL I found you! 😉
Your voice is actually perfect. For me anyways. You are quite soft spoken, great cadence, and I really enjoy listening to you now. I gotta admit it took a minute. You grew on me though. I kept going back to your channel cuz something kept drawing me back. So I now a a subscriber🙏

Then this channel came up on my suggestions so I tried it out and for one reason or another, I like this channel better.
