❤❤❤ "Stagefright" is truly delightful. I certainly hope Eddie M. mentions the absolutely fabulous Joyce Grenfell in the film. She's at the little carnival calling, "Duckies! Lovely duckies! Who wants to shoot lovely ducks?", trying to encourage folks to play a game. Blink & you'll miss her. (I tried to put up a rubber ducky emoji; can you believe it, there isn't one! Outrageous)😂
I'm not buying the reason given here why Hitch signed Jane Wyman. Why would he feel the need for a big Hollywood star when he already the biggest one of all, Dietrich?
