You’re an absolute mad lad and I appreciate you very much for the last couple years you’ve been a constant way point in my critical role journey! May the new year find you well!
I just realized that Fearne said she had "Aunties" that work in the unseelie court. Aunties are what old and powerful hags are called, so in addition to having a Grandmother hag named the "Fatestitcher" as family, Fearne probably knows an entire coven of powerful Night Hags.
Truth be told, I don’t think I’d recommend eating any of the food offered to me by Fearne’s various “aunties.” Or, y’know… anyone else in the Feywild, no matter how delicious. 😅
I played a character in DnD that had some Aunties and they were wild, screwed me over for lifetimes and would wipe my memory to make sure I had no idea. I cannot imagine that this will turn out well for the group if that is the case for Fearn.
And I'm not sure if the contempt got lower with each one or just more focused. We all know just how serious Percy was about Delilah. Man brought an army and an armory.
I'm 25 minutes into the episode and Travis has broken his chair, Ashley's choked out her drink all over the floor, Laura's banged her head on the table and Sam's banged his teeth on his binder. Evidence that the group truly does fall apart without Taliesen... 🤣🤣
Sam Riegel conditioned me into believing that this undead whole bird thing is going to come back as a major background reveal that will break all our hearts.
I almost died with the whole trying to save the world stuff going on and then Fearne being all like "Make sure to ask my nana if she is feeding Bompers".
I love how Liam always finds small ways to make it hard for Matt. Luck for Vax in C1, Keen Mind for Caleb in C2 and now the crazy high passive perception for Orym.
Is it just me or is the party diving into a portal and ending up in a place filled with magma and Orym immediately going "We have a letter for you!" giving off major Skyrim courier vibes
Calling it now, the greatest character growth in this entire campaign will be when they inevitably go to space, and FCG sees Round Exandria. Either leads to a full recontextualization of their beliefs, or they Blue Screen.
Your comment sparked a thought. All the nuances of the cast of professional voice actors are lost to our hearing challenged fellow critters, so having such descriptors in the closed captions is such a loving touch from people who obviously love language.
@@slktoolCritters donated their time to making the cc for the first campaign. Part way into C2 too if I'm not mistaken. I assume CR started paying them for their time eventually
As someone who's started developing hearing problems through their entire catch-up binge, it's really incredible. I don't feel like I'm missing as much as I know I actually am.
Given how Fearne talks about incredibly powerful hag Morrigan as her "Nana", I'm immediately assuming "Bompers" is going to be something like the goddamn Tarrasque.
I've now got an image of epic level Fearne riding a Tarrasque yelling BOMPERS STOMPERS as she just tramples over whatever enemies deared cross Bell's Hell's at that point.
I mean that's kinda the thing about fey though, right? They don't have to lie because everything they say is true AND misleading, even if only because of a vastly different world view.
The casts track record with Archfey so far is promising. A prank here, some lewd artwork there, a little consensual light strangulation.. what could go wrong?
Favorite exchange in an episode filled with great exchanges: Imogen: TALLER THAN EIGHT FEET?! Fearne: Well, I mean, how do you think I got so tall? FCG: YOU'RE NOT RELATED TO HER! 😂😂😂
okay am I the only one who went searching back through C2 to find Demid Sunlash??? That funky gnome from the Cobalt Soul who was researching Ruidis. Like I'm really just waiting for this guy to pop back up cause he's KINDA involved
Been saying this for a while now. This all connects to at least c02. It just feels like it you know? C01 had a neat, self-contained storyline but c02 was at times, riddled with chaotic plot threads that just disappeared into mystery that they never got a chance to pull on. In its last third it was a glorious mess. That moon researcher academic for example. Yeah. They just blew past him, didn't have the time to investigate him but I'm guessing this entire Ruidus plotline was at least partially in place by then. Then there's the Cerberus Assembly. They quickly burned Trent Ikithon, like cauterizing a wound - But we never saw how deep the plots of the Cerberus Assembly went. They're a shadow organization that just pops up everywhere like Hydra. But it was the end of the campaign and it all ended before Caleb and Beau could investigate. And you know, it's probably no coincidence that EXU Calamity took place when it did. I think it didn't just follow up on the Age of Arcanum lore from c02, it happened right before c03 which would delve deep into the lore of ancient gods, world-changing events, magical ley lines, etc. There's so much weird stuff happening and I'm guessing in the end of c03 it will all culminate in some cataclysmic storyline that will top the Vecha story arc. I wouldn't be surprised if c02 (in the form of interconnected one-shots and guest characters) intertwined with c03 even. After all, Beau and Caleb are actively investigating the Cerberus Assembly, if both groups dig deep enough, they're bound to bump into each other.
I was SHOUTING that at my computer monitor while watching this episode... and my husband in the other room is like, "WTF ARE YOU YELLING ABOUT?!" I told him and he's like, "Don't clerics have Turn Undead?!" "THAT'S WHAT I SAID!"
Maybe. But Sam being Sam also involves a lot of things that people are surprised that he doesn't know. Also FCG is a pretty non-standard cleric. Maybe he's self-limiting the Channel Divinity for RP reasons? Though I guess that's still Sam being Sam. A nice legitimate validation for trolling people lol.
@@MorinehtarTheBlue And when a god is killed everyone forgets their name and all records of it are erased. This thing ate them and everyone can still know their name.
@@quirk8841 Um, no. That isn't simply a thing that just happens. It might have to do with the spell that the Raven Queen used to affect an exchange. She kind of usurped his godhood and took his place in the universe. And there is also the fact that said unnamed god somehow inherited the panoply/domain of fate. And that passed on to the Raven Queen. Which also offers the possibility that she simply tried to clean up after herself and prevent someone from duplicating her efforts. In any event I see that as more of an assumption on your part than a logically drawn conclusion.
I imagine Taliesin asking after the session: “So, first proper session in the new city, huh? I hope it was something light, some side quest, shopping episode maybe? Well anyway, what did I miss? YOU DID WHAT?!”
@@LevidelValle All the episodes of the new campaign have been pre-recorded, so the session happened possibly weeks before the stream came out. That's why Marisha was talking about the "catch-up phone call" being long at the end of the episode. Sure, Taliesin could wait for the episode to air to watch it, but in order to be able to participate in their group chats when discussing the info they learned this episode, he might have wanted to hear what happened pretty soon after.
My favorite joke, Sam: "Imagine Exandria is like a pie." Travis: "Like a flat pie?" (I had to watch that twice and enjoy the joke again!!!). Not to forget Matt's face during that joke😂
I hope in C4 we have Liam and Travis sitting next to each other for the first time. Just to watch these two falling into each other and laughing their asses off and... if I'm being completely selfish... having some more intense dramatic acting moments between them a la Caleb and Fjord WITHOUT someone sitting between them.
It's really cool to see how many options BH have before them that build on EVERYTHING that's come before. Watching them decide between the nightmare king, Morri, the Shadowfell, Otohan, and other avenues, all of which are now important and viable paths, is such a testament to Matt's worldbuilding and storypacing.
I love how Matt skillfully just dropped them an out for their “fast friends” dilemma. The fact she had stolen an expensive item from a professor. No way that was prepared, and such a masterful little subtle escape.
He shouldn't have though, there need to be consequences of fucking around with peoples' minds with no thought put in for said consequence. He used to call out instances of guidance being cast in view of NPCs by mentioning the verbal and somatic components, but it hasn't notably happened in a while. I do hope it comes up in the future, and not just when somebody charms a shopkeeper to get a discount.
@@Jason-kp4vc Sure, that is definitely an angle to take. But I think as an actual play with a worldwide audience, they have to have caution to not fully derail the campaign into being criminals already for such an insignificant thing. So I applaud Matt's quick witted way to allow them to stay relatively on trail if they take it.
Bit of both maybe? A non paralysing consequence ...of enough severity ... to dissuade the criminal path? Also, it's quite understandable if Matt's ideals have shrunk a bit from, say 16, where he was ...stricter than average, I'd say.. ;-)
@@mattwebb563 It's not insignificant and it doesn't have to fully derail the campaign. Just reminders that the spells they cast have verbal and somatic components will force the party to think twice. I also don't think two shits should be given on whether or not the campaign is broadcast to a worldwide audience. That's frankly my least favorite part about successive campaigns, it's turned from a home game being streamed to a prerecorded show. So yeah, I think he should have them think twice before messing around with random civilians' minds the same way the bad guys do. My expectations are higher because they're good roleplayers that there's an opportunity missed there.
Look into travis’ eyes during/after 3:16:58 and you can tell he doesn’t NEED that insight check. At 3:17:13 you can see in his eyes that he has his wife figured out. The way he smile squints after imogen’s answer is due to him probably picking up all of her tells
The device hasn't functioned since. I can understand wanting it to work but I've given up a result barring Matt using it for a dramatic entrance. I'm just waiting to see how long until the gang, particularly Marisha, take to do the same.
@@MrWowwow2211 Oh, fuck. That would make way too much sense. Sure, they planted the ring on Otohan - but they didn't get a bead on her. Instead, Otohan got a bead on them! 😬
I love how this campaign started with them fighting animated furniture & now, 40+ eps later, they are wondering how to stop an army from possibly unlocking a God from the moon // You got to Love D&D from its escalation
*spoiler* I feel like Ryn's talk about sacrifice was Matts way of warning the players and us that he fully expects player deaths in the coming arc, and wants to make sure we know what they're getting into as a sort of in narrative warning. I feel like its about to get crazy.
Now Chetney getting hangry during Ruidus makes sense. Predathos (very predator like) devoured 2 gods and that hunger and hunting bloodlust must be infecting his inner wolf. Maybe the first time Chetney transformed was during a Ruidus flare? He's Ruidus born again. Really excited for Fearne and Morri. Wonder if she could get that gem fixed up, and hope it won't cost another century of fun scary time with grandma.
Did you all notice that the intro had actually been foreshadowing's Orym's sword evolution this whole time with the vines wrapping up around his arm? Cuz I just did and me mind was blown

"Aydinlan" means "Get enlightened" in Turkish, another new vocab as a name from Matt which mesmerized me when I noticed. A while ago I noticed something else like that but I cannot remember now (Oh yeah, a little digging and I found it: Barinak in Ep41 - Barinak means "Shelter or Refuge" in Turkish). Just like when I heard "caravanserai", instead of an "inn by a trade route". Makes me imagine the culture of Marquet better, I find it brilliant.
I love how Chetney is totally responsible for not only putting BH on the Judicators' radar 55:09 but also for sending them back to the basement killbox 4:10:20 lol
Liam, rolling a 29 on perception, but rolling an 11 on inspection, is me having 20/20 vision but lacking the concentration to read and take in large pieces of text, so having to constantly repeat reading from the top of the page.
That is saying something with the amount of gravitas Isharnai was putting out. Though The Morrigan of Celtic myth that provided some of the inspiration is a lot to live up to.
holy shit, i did it y'all. i really did it. i'm finally caught up. i started it back in 2020 just because i was bored between classes during quarantine and wanted something to watch, and two years later it's literally changed my entire life - it's the reason d&d is my #1 special interest now and it reawakened a kind of passion for fictional worlds/characters in me that i honestly thought depression had taken from me years ago. it doesn't even feel real yet, i honestly thought i might never catch up. i have no clue what i'm going to do with myself between episodes now but i'm so excited to finally get to watch along with everyone else and devour all the fan content i want without worrying about spoilers. i'm so stupidly grateful for this show and everything it's filled my life with over the past two years.
Congratulations! Welcome to the party, glad you could join us! I was once where you are now, and felt the disappointment of exhausting what felt like an infinite backlog. But over time the CR transitioned from an infinite time sink and escape from the actual world to more of a constant rhythm that reminds me to pause, enjoy and feel for a while no matter what is happening. I hope you can adjust well to your changed circumstances as well!
Congrats! I'm still catching up myself, 6 episodes behind. I started before you, but I was doing it around my full time job as a butcher and my part time side job as a live-in carer. At best I could watch one episode per day, but usually not even that. I wish I had people to play D&D with, unfortunately my TTRPG experience has been limited to GMing one 3 hour one-shot. But Matt's characters and storytelling has had a huge impact on my fantasy writing hobby. My characters are much more complex and multifaceted now. The reviews of my fanfictions are much kinder.
Thank you Critical role staff and stars! Y'all are so entertaining and a catalyst for me starting D&D again. Thank you for igniting the passion to play and bringing the joy/fun back to millions of people who have or are interested in playing D&D, including myself. Everyone of y'all are loved!
The bird haunting FCG is called Shithead. When Travis joked about drowning the bird in an ice bath my mind went to Lebowski. "Where's my money shitheeeead!?"
I might be losing my mind, but I feel like we keep meeting NPCs with pale skin and wavy red hair, and it keeps bringing to mind a certain fey creature we all know and love... I swear if Artagan is in this campaign too I dunno what I'll do
Prediction: The eaten gods made the Feywild and Shadowfell. And they are closest to the prime material because they were the first realms to be created, while the purpose of the realms of the other gods was specifically to create distance and separation from Exandria.
I have a theory that will most likely be debunked. What if the dreams and predicting people's deaths Imogen was experiencing were abilities Predathos gained when it consumed the two deities? Afterall, Vordo was the deity of fates and and Ethedok was the god of darkness and winter(which could be interpreted as something dying) and the text said that whatever Predathos consumed, it came out twisted. So it is possible that Predathos might have absorbed and twisted the deities powers and is using them to communicate from Ruidus to its Ruidusborn in order to break free. Again, I could very well be wrong, but it is fun food for thought🤷♂
My theory is that the Hellcatch Valley was formed when the piece of Exandria was taken to make Ruidus. Would make sense why that particular ley nexus is needed to break the prison. Also it's interesting that the planes of dreamlike existence (Feywild) and shadowed death (Shadowfell) also have devices.
I don't think the texts said that the twisted lifeforms were Ethedok and Vordo. Predathos consuming them and spawning it's fucked up version of life sounded like two separate events. Aside from that, however, the rest of your theory does make some sense to me. It all hinges on the interpretation of whoever wrote the texts, specifically regarding their description of Ethedok, and considering they've been dead for millennia at this point, whether they were being figurative or literal is lost to time. Fate is fairly straightforward, it just describes a preordained series of events. The only variable is how much detail is in that description. Darkness and Winter, as you pointed out, is much more interpretive, and could describe literally the night and the actual winter season, or could be used more poetically to discuss the dark spaces underground (itself another death metaphor), or death itself. Either way, considering one of the deities consumed was the original God of Fate does add weight to the idea of the ability Ruidus-born have to predict deaths as being passed down from Predathos. It also makes Predathos more terrifying. They're not just powerful enough to CONSUME GODS, they can also potentially absorb and integrate they're powers into its own ability set. Considering Predathos is described as a God-Eater, should they be released, the Deities of Exandria would be royally fucked, Exandria itself doubly so if in can essentially level up with every God consumed.
It seems that the remaining gods might have taken up the domains of Vordo and Ethedok. Raven Queen (and presumably the previous god of death) has Fate and Winter, the Lawbringer has Order, and I assume one of the betrayer gods has Darkness.
Twisted beings of fate... C2 cognoza was pretty twisted mortals (may have been ruidisborn) and transporting a whole city lines up with the broken teeth isles from the calamity. When they locked up thoes two deities Brennan said "THEY WERE MY SIBLINGS!". I think the dieties are working to free their siblings with the anchors of ruidis. More followers equals more power. Why the hellcatch valley is a ley line is beyond me. I wonder if the leylines shift in the Fey realm and shadowfell too. That would make an Apogee solstice line up like a 3 lens telescope/tool... Or weapon? A prison destroyer... Or break? Or it's meant to aline together like a magnifying lens and burn it up.... Ruidis did appear in the Fey realm too.... I wonder if it's seen in the shadowfell too?
@themoodymoonshop Samezies! Miss his lovely jewel-hearted blue face. However, it taught me something really interesting about the way the game can be played. Like randos can be invited into an existing game for a few weeks, and sort of use their time there as training wheels and YET ! Still be openly loved and missed by all of the other players and their characters. It's very wild and sweet. Lol ✨️ 😆 I love the stories and richness of these characters. Like Dorian feels like a true companion frendo to BH and its so nice and heartwarming that they still think of him often.
A lot of goofball moments, a LOT of lore drops, MASSIVE callbacks, FCG's torments, and a KILLER setup for the first episode of the new year to come! This is going to be AMAZING! :D Also, happy holidays and brightest blessings to the cast and crew, as well as all my fellow Critters -- here's hoping 2023 is a good one for us all. :)
I love just imagining the phone call that needs to be made to Tal: "Alright, so you fought the bird and checked out the Seminary, yeah? What else happened?" "Well there's something that was killing gods, so the rest of them that were still alive, including the primordials sealed it into what we now know as Ruidus." "Huh. So no shopping episode then?"
Maybe, I feel like the Assembly's involvement would need to become a lot more front and center for that to really make sense. Maybe if Otohan falls, and this doesn't turn out to be a short campaign that ends with this Ruidus arc, the Assembly's machinations could play into the next major plot thread.
That's what I thought when Ryn was mentioning her allies. Yussa leads to both Beau and Caleb, and they're following every movement of the Assembly very closely. Of course at least one of them are going to appear in this campaign, and I'm sure they're aware of everything that is happening.
God, I hope we get a situation where Bell's Hells attack the shadowfell device, Vox Machina attack the Feywild device, and the Mighty Nein attack the Exandria device.
There is a metric fuck ton of guests appearances that I would be overjoyed to see and Emily Axford would definitely be in my top 10. I'm just wondering about time commitments since they don't seem to be doing one offs for this campaign (though that could always change).
It needs to be a proper crossover between Mighty Nein and Fantasy High. Then again, the multiverse may not be able to withstand the combined chaos of Figeroth Faeth and Jester Lavorre.
C3 as an animated series would be so cheap to make. Static shots because half the party keeps going invisible and silent scenes because the other half of the party keeps having mental conversations
Its a fun joke but invisible characters in animation are still drawn, of several techniques i think the most common is just making them blue and slightly transparent.
Best insight check was on Fearne when asked about her "nana" and her house. The house with the "big chicken legs". And if no one figured that out, then Baba Yaga has a surprise for you! Happy holidays critters!
for some reason i thought ryn lived ong ago and was dead for like a hundred years so this fucked with my brain. Also the M9 COULD HAVE JUST RUN INTO HER THERE WTF And did she have words with Yussa when she came back and found her guardian destroyed???
Spoiler Had a wild idea Thursday that I can almost guaranty is not true, I think preydathos consuming the two gods is what created the shadow fell and the fey wild. The endless shadow and the fateshaper, they seem to close to be a coincidence Update on thought, when tharizdun was described it was said he was not a god he was a world, so what if tharizdun was one of preydathos's earlier victims. He was following preydathos from where ever the gods came from
I don't think that lines up with the current understanding of the lore. With feywild and shadowfell, I find that interesting but a little contradictory. The endless shadow has attributes much like the shadowfell, but the fateshaper was a god of order which is very unlike the feywild. So for one to be made in the image of a god and the other to be made as the opposite would be strange. Secondly Tharizdun was active much later than when Predathos was imprisoned, so that one pretty much can't be true. Interesting theories though! Fun to speculate.
@@jmormaple like I said I'm sure im wrong but it seems like there's somthing there. Why are there machines in the neighbor planes if there not connected somehow. Once again its just a theory
Also how does Tharizdun also fit into all this ? In Exandria he is also seen as a force from outside the material plane that came to consume, devour and destroy everything not just gods, is it in some way related to Predathos ? Could it be it's spawn ? Could unchaining the chained oblivion give the deities a bit of an edge against Predathos where it to get free ? I have so many questions and I really wish someone had brought that point up.
@@gadgetronking4255 my thinking is that tharizdun was created be preydathos consuming a god from where ever the gods came from originally, leaving behind a plane with no world to shadow, thus it ran free, following behind preydathos as it followed the gods to exandria.
@Cody Mongaraz the fey wild and the shadow fell are reflections of exandria. Matt describes the machines in those planes as being supplementary to the site in the hellcatch. It's likely that using the machines in other realms assists otohan/assembly in whatever endeavor is being conducted in the hellcatch. Disrupting those machines may influences the ability for the bad guys to succeed.

Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?
Thank you Flando!
I hope you're getting paid for this
You’re an absolute mad lad and I appreciate you very much for the last couple years you’ve been a constant way point in my critical role journey! May the new year find you well!
Commenting until pinned
Flando, how did you become like this?
You know, we've never see Ashton and the bird at the same time...
This is quite possibly the FUNNIEST take on shit head I’ve seen thus far
Wow, Ashton is a were-Shitbird?
I just realized that Fearne said she had "Aunties" that work in the unseelie court. Aunties are what old and powerful hags are called, so in addition to having a Grandmother hag named the "Fatestitcher" as family, Fearne probably knows an entire coven of powerful Night Hags.
Can't wait for the Hag Family Reunion! I'm bring a casserole. Fearne has volunteered to make the punch.... which I don't think I trust, actually.
I hope one hag at this family reunion brings a box of muffins for everyone to share, and tells Fearne that a blue Tiefling got her hooked on them.
Truth be told, I don’t think I’d recommend eating any of the food offered to me by Fearne’s various “aunties.” Or, y’know… anyone else in the Feywild, no matter how delicious. 😅
@@michaelsheridan6177 where is the fun in that you gotta try everything at least once
-Elhana (my 3.5E debauchery cleric/divine bard)
I played a character in DnD that had some Aunties and they were wild, screwed me over for lifetimes and would wipe my memory to make sure I had no idea. I cannot imagine that this will turn out well for the group if that is the case for Fearn.
Percy had the Briarwoods, Caleb had Trent, FCG has Little Shithead
And I'm not sure if the contempt got lower with each one or just more focused. We all know just how serious Percy was about Delilah. Man brought an army and an armory.
To each their own. 😂
Was seriously expecting Shithead to be a roc or a dragon, but damn this is somehow even better!
Chetney has oltgar
Artigan had The Theatre... 🎭
I'm 25 minutes into the episode and Travis has broken his chair, Ashley's choked out her drink all over the floor, Laura's banged her head on the table and Sam's banged his teeth on his binder. Evidence that the group truly does fall apart without Taliesen... 🤣🤣
Laura also had a mini stroke during the sponsor bit
And then while all that happened, I was eating a peanut and laughed, and the peanut nearly went down the wrong pipe.
It can’t be a coincidence that Taliesin was also absent for Vox Moochina
@@criticalkeaton7601 it was hilarious

Knowing Fearne (and the reputation of Morri), Bompers is probably a pet baby Tarrasque.
Nah.
I can't believe they got Chetney to shimmy down a chimney on the week of Christmas. He's come full circle.
Not sure we have any idea how big that circle truly is :D
Ya know, if you combine Chetney and shimmy, you get chimney so really, it was meant to be xD.

I love how Liam always finds small ways to make it hard for Matt. Luck for Vax in C1, Keen Mind for Caleb in C2 and now the crazy high passive perception for Orym.
He just wants to make Matt’s life difficult and that’s why he’s the best 😂

Can't wait for it to be flat. First thing they'll find on the moon is a sign saying " and the gods are all made up"

Like a true flat earther here on earth, he will probably say it just looks round because that's the shape of our eyes :'D
"Matt: (sternly) no" really shows how into it the closed caption team is.
Your comment sparked a thought. All the nuances of the cast of professional voice actors are lost to our hearing challenged fellow critters, so having such descriptors in the closed captions is such a loving touch from people who obviously love language.
@slktool I think maybe deep down I appreciated that, but didn't fully let it sink in until now. Huh!

@rachelclaw oh I'm in the same boat. This is 100% me praising the captioning team
Given how Fearne talks about incredibly powerful hag Morrigan as her "Nana", I'm immediately assuming "Bompers" is going to be something like the goddamn Tarrasque.

dude he would be SOOOO excited
I am right with you

@@quirk8841 Um, no. That isn't simply a thing that just happens. It might have to do with the spell that the Raven Queen used to affect an exchange.
She kind of usurped his godhood and took his place in the universe. And there is also the fact that said unnamed god somehow inherited the panoply/domain of fate.
And that passed on to the Raven Queen. Which also offers the possibility that she simply tried to clean up after herself and prevent someone from duplicating her efforts.

My favorite joke, Sam: "Imagine Exandria is like a pie." Travis: "Like a flat pie?" (I had to watch that twice and enjoy the joke again!!!). Not to forget Matt's face during that joke😂
Do you know when in the vid that was?
I love Liam's and Travis' Invisible Shenanigans. I hope the tradition continues in campaign 4.
And if Tailsen was there he might have added Hexum to that list.

The _exact_ conversation too. Sam is just really hung up on the idea of naked Fearne for some reason.
The big final plot twist will be he's been walking around with x-ray vision all this time... suits Sam's own character

Hmm. I like the connection with winter and death.
My wish for 2023 is for Robbie to return to this table as Dorian and just not leave again. I miss my blue boi.
I miss him sm! Started watching cr for the first time this campaign & I didn't realize he would be leaving until he was gone :( still heartbroken
@themoodymoonshop Samezies!
Like Dorian feels like a true companion frendo to BH and its so nice and heartwarming that they still think of him often.
no, 8 is too many
@@megan-.-moon Same! I started my CR journey with C3 and had no idea he's not part of the core group! I miss him so much!
I'd be down to see him again. Ericka not so much ..
My life would be complete if I could watch an animated Chetney wrestle an undead bird.
Give the critters some time, it will happen.
Fearne being surrounded by hags as she grew up is so fascinating. More please! Oh god please choose Morri
that is fking scary as fk. and comfronting an Archfey to put your "grandmother" at risk? Well, that do sounds like Fearne's doing...
Suggma, motherfuckin suggma. Oochi boochi nori maki ara neh.
A lot of goofball moments, a LOT of lore drops, MASSIVE callbacks, FCG's torments, and a KILLER setup for the first episode of the new year to come! This is going to be AMAZING! :D
Also, happy holidays and brightest blessings to the cast and crew, as well as all my fellow Critters -- here's hoping 2023 is a good one for us all. :)
I love just imagining the phone call that needs to be made to Tal:
"Alright, so you fought the bird and checked out the Seminary, yeah? What else happened?"
"Well there's something that was killing gods, so the rest of them that were still alive, including the primordials sealed it into what we now know as Ruidus."
"Huh. So no shopping episode then?"
I wonder if we'll see Beau and Caleb in this campaign sometime.
Maybe, I feel like the Assembly's involvement would need to become a lot more front and center for that to really make sense. Maybe if Otohan falls, and this doesn't turn out to be a short campaign that ends with this Ruidus arc, the Assembly's machinations could play into the next major plot thread.
No we won't because they're not in the same timeline yet.
50-50 chance that professor Widogast is part of the Grim Verity
That's what I thought when Ryn was mentioning her allies. Yussa leads to both Beau and Caleb, and they're following every movement of the Assembly very closely. Of course at least one of them are going to appear in this campaign, and I'm sure they're aware of everything that is happening.
@Aloysius
Wdym not the same timeline?
I can't wait to see Talisen's reaction. Let alone how he will have Ashton react.
"I'm so fucking jealous, I love lava"
The,”We not gonna make it.” Got me so much when I watched it live, one of the best moments in this campaign
NO! We ain't gonna make it!
I hope laudna gets shit head to join eventually cuz I'm all for laudna collecting dead birds like pokemon 🤣
isn't this the third time Sam has asked whether Fearne has clothes?
It's at least the second.
The twist is Sam has just been confusing R34 artwork for official character art.
@@parodycalfilms The voice acting doesn't help
God, I hope we get a situation where Bell's Hells attack the shadowfell device, Vox Machina attack the Feywild device, and the Mighty Nein attack the Exandria device.
Surely the MN would go to the Feywild… I mean… The Traveler is an ArchFey… and I wanna see those knuckleheads trippin balls through the Fey.
@@pilotknight9995 Well, I don't know if you're caught up, but let's say we're both wrong XD
i wonder if Shithead is a revived, and mangled, Professor Thadius :P
Headcanon accepted
It would be the abandoned pet of Beauregard to say, "If I'm alive then I'm everyone else's problem, too."
Wish for the new year: a guest appearance by Emily Axford…!
(Though there are others which would be fun too.)
There is a metric fuck ton of guests appearances that I would be overjoyed to see and Emily Axford would definitely be in my top 10.
I'm just wondering about time commitments since they don't seem to be doing one offs for this campaign (though that could always change).
Emily would be amazing!
@@MorinehtarTheBlue Yeh. I have a few more. But she’s at the top.
(-:
It needs to be a proper crossover between Mighty Nein and Fantasy High.
Then again, the multiverse may not be able to withstand the combined chaos of Figeroth Faeth and Jester Lavorre.

"Matt shows all 5 cards" "Matt pauses" I need more of Sam narrating Matt's ad direction
C3 as an animated series would be so cheap to make. Static shots because half the party keeps going invisible and silent scenes because the other half of the party keeps having mental conversations
ashton’s weird portal-ing and brain stuff would balance out the budget
Its a fun joke but invisible characters in animation are still drawn, of several techniques i think the most common is just making them blue and slightly transparent.
Best insight check was on Fearne when asked about her "nana" and her house. The house with the "big chicken legs". And if no one figured that out, then Baba Yaga has a surprise for you! Happy holidays critters!
That also reminded me of Nana Ogg etc from Terry Pratchett’s
Books.
Matt said something about there being a small crank and my reaction was "that's just Chetney"
@20:50 - ♫ Wait! He isn't dead! Shia surprise! There's poop on your head, and death in his eyes! ♫
Perfect :D
Crazy that Beau says something in Campaign 2, Episode 108 at 3:05:10 that predicts this prison moon theory 🤯🤯🤯
for some reason i thought ryn lived ong ago and was dead for like a hundred years so this fucked with my brain.
Also the M9 COULD HAVE JUST RUN INTO HER THERE WTF
And did she have words with Yussa when she came back and found her guardian destroyed???
Spoiler
Had a wild idea Thursday that I can almost guaranty is not true, I think preydathos consuming the two gods is what created the shadow fell and the fey wild. The endless shadow and the fateshaper, they seem to close to be a coincidence
Update on thought, when tharizdun was described it was said he was not a god he was a world, so what if tharizdun was one of preydathos's earlier victims.
Chetney finally got a taste of being Santa this episode
Yeah Marisha was definitely trolling Travis with that go down the chimney bit.
What you missed on the Plot of Bells Hells so far: A group of corporate professionals who attended the wrong block party ended up opening Pandora's box and traveling with The Doctor (Planerider Ryn).

I haven't done dishes in a couple days, okay Sam? I've had other things going on.
I love Sam referring to his previous character like" isn't this where notts kid died " like it wasn't a traumatic situation lol
I was kinda annoyed by that comment cause I’m 🎵making my way 🎵 through campaign 2 right now I’m like at episode 50, I know it’s been years but for us critters who haven’t been around as long I was like that’s kinda a big spoiler to just toss out there like that
@@evechristensen2370 Sam says this himself I directly quoted what he says towards the end of this video. Don't get mad at me for it when he spoiled it first. I'm aware people read comments during the video and probably haven't made it to that section. But I again directly said what Sam commented on and only added to it. I am sorry for spoiling it more for you but this does happen later in campaign 2 and the idea of saying "notts kid died" is a very simple way of putting what happened in the previous campaign.
For clarification this spoiler does happen at 2:30:00 ish in the video
