Great information! People need to plan while you’re healthy! Talk to your kids before it’s too late. Cancer can get you fast plan early.

Memory care my husband is about to go into is costing almost 10,000 a month, just be prepared. But I can no longer keep doing this, I’ve done it for 3 years and I’m exhausted and have no life for myself. I’m in the Dallas area. The cost is a baseline then extras are added for things like if incontinence that’s extra 600 per month. Cable etc. our room 400 sq ft.

Care communities can be so expensive. It sounds like you've planned well so that you can take time for yourself and your husband care receive the care that he needs. Sending you positive thoughts!

Completely off topic but I MUST know where you got the quilt in the background??? I would love to find the pattern. I am a quilter. Did you make it? Love your videos.

Hi- Not to worry being off topic. Thanks for liking the quilt. I did not make it and have had it for years. I have no idea of the pattern.

My parents don't have any money for care and I was getting paid but now working longer hours. They don't want any change. I don't know if they are ready for a nursing home but if I wasn't here here....

People can live decades needing help. You really have to think, before you commit yourself.

I agree most caregivers think the commitment is short term when it may not be! Thanks for your comment.

My dad's ashes are going into the landfill.

Thanks for sharing. I had a client who felt the same way about his ashes. He wanted them spread in a parking lot!
