Imagine Mosman at the Markets

Our roving film crew asked residents what they love about Mosman and what they’d like to see in Mosman’s future as part of an engagement program to inform Mosman’s next 10-year Community Strategic Plan, MOSPLAN 2025-2035.

As a young child who grew up at Balmoral Beach and lived in the Bathers Pavillion, my father was Mischa who put Mischa's Seafood Restaurant in the Bathers Pavillion I do believe that I can see the old and the new when Mosman was a small, beautiful village not what it is today I cannot get my mind around why Council needs to be planning for 2035 Mosman had lost its old beauty quaintness and has become sterile clinical. the net at Balmoral was taken down by a group of people because it interrupted the view of the Heads when I was a little girl the seagulls used to sit on the net at night and go to sleep new money came to town and it just looks like everywhere else I think Council should stop interfering and leave Mosman alone I sure it will survive well into the future without all the obsession for shiny and new sometimes it is advantageous to leave things alone
