I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video. I couldn't find anything on Spaulding site for this style of hoop. I picked mine up yesterday and read all the mixed reviews on assembly. I am a pro puzzler and Ikea assembler so I am confident. I am putting it together by myself and will call in reinforcements when needed. Thank you!!!
thinking about picking up this hoop at Walmart myself for my 2 boys. wondering how you and your kids are liking it now after having it for some time. how is it holding up?
You're going to need 2 adults to do the 2 difficult parts. After you get the backboard on it needs 2 adults to lift it up block both the wheels on the bottom of the base And then put the basketball Ram assembly on the backboard. You have to block both the wheels on the bottom of the base and have the vertical piece of the backboard support polls braced up against either a bed of a truck or a fence. This will allow you to put the Basketball rim assembly on the backboard.
Hey buddy. What’s your impression after these couple of months? Is the backboard cheap and easily to break? Is the whole thing pretty stable (for portable hoop)? I want it for my under 10 kids
I have had it for a few months and it is hiding up great so far. I play on it as well as my 2 kids 6 and 7 years old. fire how much I paid for it it is doing it's main purpose, something to play with outside. I only filled the base half way up with water and an using a product called hoop secure on to off it just to keep it mobile if needed, but since I set it up it has not been moved. but still stable.
Just got one today from Walmart after my other one was broke. The first one i had the backboard was broke because someone probably shot it with a gun or probably someone swung it with a bat. It was in my front yard it happened like 2:00 in the morning when my backboard was broke but now i got another one and this time i’m keeping it in my backyard so no one will try to break it again.
Okay, 2 things... 1), uh who films in portrait rather than landscape? Stop doing that. 2) I'm helping my brother assemble his for my nieces and nephews... he opened the box and threw it away months ago... all the parts are there according to him (I have no reason not to believe that) as is the manual, and I'm just struggling to identify which bolts and nuts and screws are which as the bags are a bit jumbled up and parts are not labled and it's partially assembled so laying out parts and counting w/ some common sense wouln't be all that easy at this point, so I sure wish you showed the individual nuts and bolts as you were assembling, otherwise this video is not helpful to me (though I understand it may be helpful to others)...

Mine goal won’t raise idk if we put it on wrong or what
Did the small cover plate under the rim fit "inside" the bracket as described in the directions? Mine definitely is wider than the bracket
