If you are attacked, turn around and yell two men's names, or if you feel like a weirdo is following you, turn and wave to an imaginary someone in the not-too-far-off distance behind them while yelling, "Mike!!!! Hey, hurry up!" Another tip: be careful smiling at men. It's common in the US to smile at strangers as you pass by, but in Portugal, it means you're flirting.
