Just want to clarify, Fridge is insulated with 8 inches of high density urethane foam on the bottom and 4 inches all around. Batteries are 220ah lithium. All the box is insulated with minium 2 inches foam panel/urethane and maximum 4 inches of rockwool. All framing is made with Russian plywood (12 plies birch, no void) and designed in a special matrix to maximize strength in all directions. Fiberglassed in and out with multiple layers, that was overkill.. forget breaking or cracking this box. I doubt any other camper can have a real tile backsplash without cracking it... Thanks 👍
This is one of the coolest rigs I've ever seen. Though, it is so big and blue, it sorta reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer joins the Stonecutters, and they paint a hospital blue, which causes a helicopter to nail it. Anything which reminds me of old Simpsons episodes, is 100% only a good thing.
I really need your help. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4×4. I just put a pop top camper on it. I have owned this truck since it was new. I really need to do something about the way it handles. It is so tippy with this light camper and the steering has always been a little loose but it feels even more sloppy. I don't feel safe on the road it handles so bad. Please let me know all that I can do to improve my ride. Even help with what's the best tires for the new weight I'm carrying would be great. This camper is about 1800lbs without all my stuff in it. Can you please give me some advice?
@@hopeulikenudes thank you. If I tell the mechanic to up grade my suspension then they will know everything I need? My experience is that I need to tell them every part I want on it and the brand name of those parts. Is a sway bar part of the suspension system? I know nothing about this so appreciate your help
I would look into airbags! They will stiffen the ride in the back and you can adjust them by changing the PSI. You can raise and lower the rear with airbags allowing you to put more weight on your front tires which will greatly improve handling.
Hi I have a 01 f350 4x4 crew cab I also have a pop up camper on mine. I have air bags very happy with them. Sorry i didn't... But i still have some pictures and short videos i could put together with a description on RUclips... Might do it since I have a lot of request, i miss the time. Go to my channel there is a video already with more infos... And subscribe just in case I put out another one. Thanks!
Hurray......the video I've been waiting for since this rig first appeared on your channel! What fun to join you in your awe and wonder of this well thought out and executed mobile living space!! And, yes, I did see the "exterior" video where you covered how the builder started with such a neat vintage beast, too! (Looking forward to Part 3 because you did miss covering one thing where this big blue rig is concerned ..... the tiny RC one that "matches" it!) Nonetheless, another fun and informative video. THANKS!!!
Man the bed room got me... me and my wife could live in that thing on some adventures. Thx for the posts. We just subscribe and you and brians vids are so inspiring
I'm surprised it doesn't fall apart being wood framed. I'd like to learn more about the construction. Building something like this is much more accessible if you can build it like that.
It's not normal wood timber, it's is russian plywood in a special matrix and then fiberglassed with multiple layers. This plywood is far from cheap and so is the fiberglass. There is 8k just in plywood, resin and mat. It took about hundreds of hour to build and flip around many times to lay down the fiberglass, nothing easy or cheap there . You can hammer any part of the box as hard as you wish, you'll be lucky to make a ding. I tried to break a leftover piece and after hundreds of hit from 4 different guys, the plywood finally delaminated a bit.
@@redwardstone3651 you literally don't know these people and have zero clue what you're talking about. But continue to be salty cause you don't own it.
@@jonburtt8768 well yeah I’m salty i was genuinely looking at this thing lol but spending 90k like that makes more sense to build your own and be intimate with it if you’re gonna be off grid. Great rig. Thanks for the tour. I would like to see more details “if possible “ how the roof raises is one of them. I understand it’s winch operating, not sure where the winch pulleys attach.
It's very easy, I might make another video to exolain the build, but for now you can go on my channel and watch the video I've done when it read for sale. Subscribe to my channel to get notified when I'll do it... Thanks

I spose there will always be people out there who irrationally dislike cool things, and perhaps some of those dislikes are from those type of people. I'd guess though, that most of the dislikes are people who wanted to see more Koda in Phil's vids, and this one did not meet their wants or expectations. As Phil noted though, all disliking does is tell the algo that you interacted with it, and increase the weight and likelihood that it sends this vid out to more people. So really,t here is hardly any actual difference when people like, or dislike a vid. Both do exactly the same thing. So that they're interacting, for whatever reason, is helping this vid and channel, grow faster.

Such an amazing build that dwarfs every one else! Nice walk through, definitely a ton of thought and time went into this build.
You have to wonder how they forked out $95,000 for this thing
Wow thats a 24v cummins I thought forsure it would have a 12v in it. Thats what I got going in my rig best diesel there is
