    this is why you run the impmon to recycle beelstarmon

    For Rapidmon, do you have to select up to 3 digimon to use its effect OR can you combine the dp reduction on one digimon doing -15000? Not sure if it works the same as Shinegreymon.

    • @R0boSushi
      @R0boSushi  2 года назад

      It has to target separate digimon. Shine’s effect activates multiple times so it can target multiple. Rapid selects “up to 3” so you have to target at least one digimon or 1-3 digimon separately.

      @@R0boSushi Thank you. I knew i was cheated at my locals by this effect.

    That Gallantmon playmat looks sick. Where can you order that from?

      Not sure. My locals had an event where top 8 won a copy of the mat but I’m not sure where they ordered them from.

    Beelstar player always forgot about the blue Matts eff.

    In Game 3 the yellow player does probably not realize but he had only one Tamer and could only suspend one of the opponents Digimon and give it -5K. I think he was thinking he could give the whole board -5K. He has to be careful here because if he decided to suspend Vilemon and give it -5K he would have passed the turn. Still it would have not matter in the game outcome since he would have won anyway (1 Blocker 2 Swings and no Securty) but I think he was not aware of the whole effect.

    Love the video and the commentary! I have a quick question: around the 5 minutes mark the beelstar player uses calling on the eyesmon and chooses to add back another eyesmon and the gabumon in the stack, the he proceeds activating the on deletion effects so he draws 3 and discard 2 and then draw 1 and discard 1, he doesn't use the gabumon effect. Sometimes I see people using it saying it becomes an inherited eff of the eyesmon and sometimes I see people not using it like in the video, my question is: what is the correct ruling?

    • @DemonEyeHelix
      @DemonEyeHelix 2 года назад +2

      As far as I know, the gabumon isn't in the trash for this effect to trigger.

    • @filipposcarduelli5079
      @filipposcarduelli5079 2 года назад

      @@DemonEyeHelix yes exactly, that's what I also think is the correct ruling, but some people say that all the inherited eff become eyesmon effects so they all resolves as long as the eyesmon is in trash. Thanks for the aswer!!

    • @DemonEyeHelix
      @DemonEyeHelix 2 года назад +1

      @@filipposcarduelli5079 Actually now that you said that, it also makes sense since inherited effects are effects that the main digimon gains, but idk for sure.

    • @R0boSushi
      @R0boSushi  2 года назад +2

      So that’s actually a misplay on the beelstar player. I didn’t notice it was a gabu in source.
      The correct ruling is that as long as the Scatter Mode stays in the trash, you will still be able to get the inherit of the gabumon. For on deletion effects like this, the game only checks to make sure that the top digimon, Scatter Mode, is still in the trash for any inherited on deletion effects to activate. So the beelstar player should have drawn 2 and discarded 1 for the effect of gabu as well since the scatter remained in trash after calling resolved.

    Game 2 the yellow player had Edens in his hand, but decided to hard slam the rapidmon. I feel like everyone is scared of the draw power scatter mode has that they prefer to not kill it instead of surviving...Scatter got a free swing in for no reason and it died getting off its cycle anyways

      Hey, I am the player on the left here. I have play tested the match up a good bit with the player on the right. As you saw from game one I am not afraid to kill a Eyesmon. I know that my only chance to win this match up is to apply as much pressure as I can and try to have more or even number of Digimon in play at end of turn. If I start falling behind even a little on the match up I'll lose. That being said, my hope was for Eyesmon to die to security and hope I survive his. Once his Bell costs 2 or less I have a significantly smaller chance of winning so attacking would be more important.

      @@Oldysian @John Futch Understandable, but I'm still not sure if that was the right move. Sure you have healing, but it's limited and it was uncessary to take a hit like that in the first place because that deck loves to chip away until it can go for game. You basically took a risk doing that.
