@@KirkWilliamsonphotography .... Thanks. By the way, does sensors suffer from halation effect, as in film??? 3.30 to 3.45 into the video, around Sun..... What is that???
I actually used Lightroom. But I had to download a free plugin that created a video slideshow. It worked well for a small amount of images which was about 298 or so. Much more than 400 and it would take a very long time.
Hi, both nice time lapses. I was wondering, how do you get the video? I tried the time lapse on my xt3 but i only get the frames, without the video. Do you need to edit with software? Of is there a function on the xt3 to make a video of it.. or maybe i did something wrong 😁.. thanks for your advice!
The X-T3 does not do it in camera. You need to use Lightroom and then iMovie or some other video editing software. Basically it comes down to 30 images per second. Which in video terms is frames per sec. Google time lapse and it will give you an explanation. Or watch one of Michael Shainblum’s videos on it on RUclips
That was very interesting - I just started to learn how my xt3 and photography at all works. And I love time-lapses. Even though I don't have an as beautiful scenery as you, I'll need to try that out. You didn't use a filter, did you?
Cool video and thanks for sharing. I am about to try this with the X-T4. I will try and keep my shutter speed between 2 seconds and 1 second. I am hoping that it will make it smooth. Did you use a filter?
Kirk, I’m going to stop watching your videos, my wife says that you’re a bad influence on me, I was watching your video on the XF 55-200 and I thought that it was a good idea, I was going to get the XF 50-140, but it’s heavy and I do have the XF 100-400 (yes, I know they’re two different animals), so yesterday I went and bought the 55-200, you’re right, it’s a great lens, now all I carry in my bag for every day is this lens and the XF 16-80, so what if I have to sleep in the guest room, it’s nice and quiet. As far as this video, you did a great job, but time lapse (video in general) is not for me, I like to take stills. Stay safe.
@@KirkWilliamsonphotography I understand (and agree) what you mean about “great lens for the money”, I’m not looking so much at the cost of the lens but at the image quality, the versatility of the focal range and the built quality, I’m very happy with it, thank you for the recommendation Kirk.
Thank you very much for you video and information... 👍👍👍📷📸📸📷🎬🎬👍👍😃😃👋👋👋 Health and Greetings from Spain... Salud y Saludos desde España... 👋👋👋

I'll have to try that. Cheers, Dirk
It’s kind of fun to try new things.
Nice.
Thanks Sundar!

Great video, what software do you use to stitch them together?

It takes lots of images. No no filters.

Hi Wade, nope no filter. Shutter speed might make a difference

Thanks Enrique. Enjoy the guest room! The 55-200 is a great lens for the money.
