Cant wait for the rest of the series. Anyone who isn't using infantry is missing out! Gotta keep initiative in mind though. Games can get really one sided when you spend the first half of your movement phase forcing your opponent to take bad positions with your twenty stationary infantry.
Hi guys. Thx. For picking this up again. Just bought some 6 mm infantry and a vtol to play around with. Looking forward to when catalyst puts out the vehicles, probably with some battle armor in there ad well.
Absolutely interested. I'm more of a Battle armor type when infantry are needed, though. Having done past versions of the game where infantry were there to suck up build points and die like flies, I tend to use more robust units. Also, Tarron, the Hell's Horses are open to new bondsmen. You will find me a tough but fair bondholder. ;)
The thing is, they only die like flies with actual anti-infantry weapons around (and no cover). They can actually be fairly sticky otherwise and sort of act like landmines.
Wonderful rules overview. Can't wait for more. I have so many questions on infantry rules. Mainly on unit creation, basing, mechanized vs motorized, etc etc. Hehe Also, when activating infantry do you do it per Platoon or per squad? Since each platoon can only target one target/Platoon..

Thanks for doing these videos! I'm new to battletech and they've really helped me learn.
Glad you like them K! If you know anyone new to the game let them know about us, cheers.
I agree 100% with this comment. These are my favorite videos for learning Battletech Classic.
Agreed as well - by far the best tutorials on the web!
Cheers mates,
Kind regards from Austria 🤘🏻
