Hi Emily. Just a note of caution about essential oils/plug ins/diffusers around Cody. I had a pup who developed seizures and it was from aromatherapy type items. Once I removed them, she no longer had seizures.
This! I read the same on the internet and warned my mum not to use her diffuser around her dog.

Loved watching the organisation of the closet, what a dream! Maybe you could get an acrylic basket/box to "Marie Kondo" fold your scarves into and place them on one of the shelves? That way they are neatly stored away but you can see the rainbow of colour from the side?

I’ve been wondering if you have considered making part of your workout room into an office space with maybe a corner desk that can be used for your Cricut machine. Some of the storage space can also be used for its accessories in the workout room closet. We call it a remote control, clicker, controller.
You filling your wardrobe is making me excited for Christmas as I have asked for my first ever wardrobe for my bedroom. As I have the box room of the house I don’t have much room for anything apart from my bed. But I’m getting a desk and a single door wardrobe. 🎉

I know I'm a little late in catching up but I have a suggestion with the scarves... get a vintage ladder and tuck the scarfs into the runs. You can see all the layers and it looks like a colourful piece of art. Can place the ladder anywhere.
I always ask for something I want\love, something I need, and something practical.

Roll the scarves and put them in one of your island drawers. That way you open and see all them lined up and choose one.

Make it yours I’m sure. Just a suggestion maybe a beautiful tray to store some of your perfumes in, and a nice candle on your island. And we call it a remote from NZ.

The way I would have a FIELD DAY organising that room 😂 I should be a professional organiser it’s my calling hahaha
Dont worry about the wardrobe Organisation, as you start to use the room you will find where everyrhing needs to go. Youve made a fantastic start. For the shoe inserts etc, go for one of those baskets on a shelf near the shoes. The Whamm baskets are good variety of colours and sizes and because they are plastic the wont catch on clothes or attract dust like straw baskets.
I agree, I feel like I won’t know exactly where things should go until I use it!
As someone who has struggled with back pain since childhood, I feel for u Emily. I’m 40yrs old now & of course it’s gotten worse, because that’s what happens when u age. I have a strict diet, mainly plant based with the occasional butter, yogurt & cheese. It’s honestly a second job to take care of my body. I must walk/jog, do Pilates a few times a week & yoga/meditation every day. I’m a therapeutic yoga instructor & apprenticed under a physical therapist, so I know how to do all things. Even with that background, it’s difficult. Sometimes u gotta just get the cortisol shot, especially in winter. I hope u feel better soon. Do an epson salt soak💖
I think leaving the glass uncovered is much more practical, plus there’s nothing wrong with how they look.
I never know what to ask for Christmas or birthday because I already have what I want 😅 I ended up asking my mum for some nail related bits to play with seeing as I do my own gels!

Hello lovely, watching you in pain made me realise what my kids see and how difficult it is knowing they cant help you. Pain sucks. I have chronic pain following spinal surgery and sometimes just thinking about standing up or getting comfortable is painful. I hope you're feeling a little better today as the temperature has risen significantly. Sending you healing hugs to hekp you feel a littke warmer.xx
We call the television remote the 'diddle' as thats ehat my partner calls it so we all use the term. Growing up we called it the buttons or controls. I love hearing what other people call the daily items we all use.

Try using an electric heated blanket. That helps many with arthritis. There are throw sizes for the sofa and full size for the bed. That way your body can be warmed properly when needed to give relief. If you add fabric to the doors, leave the glass in front so the fabric won't collect dust like it would if you removed the glass.

Hello Emily 😊 The dressroom looks amazing 😍 In France we call it the "télécommande" 😂 if your body is sore I advice you to buy epsom salt to put on your bath it helped me so much after tough workout or muscle pain because of changing seasons 😊 Take care 😇

if you dont wanna light candles there that light thing, sort of like what you'd use for wax melts right? the electric version? that way you could enjoy candles but no open flames? Googling tells me its called something a long the lines of Candle warmer lamp. Maybe that could work?

For the TV we call it a remote like what you were showing. Controllers are like what are used for consoles like for gaming. That's what we would call those so we knew the difference and that's just how I grew up and how I've always known it to be and how everyone around me would call them. But I guess you could call it either way

I have those same dividers, but the ends of mine are tan rather than black! They’re awesome! Also my mom used to call it the clicker; she knows it’s called the remote, but she still says clicker every once in a while. I just turned 33 and basically got used to her saying clicker by now. And I would do it by item of clothing, then by color, if that makes sense. I do it with my clothes; it makes more sense with me and it makes me feel better to know that I do it by item of clothing, then do each section by color.

Bottoms one drawer and tops the other. You will get lazy and it’s so much easier xxxx

OK here we go, love your dress it’s so pretty, and looks so comfortable, dressing room looks amazing, always called it a remote, i’m originally from New York, but moved to Florida can’t stand the cold anymore, I have arthritis in one knee. I got it instantly when I broke my knee so I know the feeling of course it didn’t help when I broke my foot last May also, I could safely say, that my 6 mile a week walks are over. Actually, if you have any suggestions for me, it would be great. I tend to stay still and not move around when my knee is acting up. As usual, I am starving after watching your blogs and will now have to search for aLebanese restaurant which I don’t think we have. You’re doing an amazing job with the house, are you having Christmas this year with your family at your house?

Emily i myself have to take medication to be even able to get out bed and find winter the worst as have life limiting emdical condtion seeing you in pain is horrible i hope you are ok and get some help if your pain gets worse thinking off you i had to use my stick for my knee today with the cold weather and im only 35 keep warm and rest 💖😘
