At the risk of sounding sappy, I love that you do your best to stay connected with the fam. That pure honesty and affection just jumps out of these NZ videos. Thank you, Nick.
The Toyotas really need some alcantara bits, to pucker up the interior, Nick. And some deviated stitches. I guess this is what heaven looks like: beautiful scenery and nice, happy people.
Wow! I dream of owning a parcel a fraction of this size someday. I'd be thrilled to own even just 50 acres or so with mountain views and some forest land.
Wonderful video of your sister and family. She's obviously extraordinarily patient having you for a brother. Looking forward to seeing parts, 3, 4, 5, etc.!
I love that camera for this application because for 360 degree there’s something to behold; that camera allows us to see a wider aspect ratio as if we were there using peripheral vision for those incredible vistas and meadows and flatlands and hills and mountains, we can discern through this camera view the sheer size of the breathtaking expanse
Hey Nick! Just discovered your channel- fast cars and aviation, you're speaking my language! We were in Queenstown, New Zealand several years ago and absolutely loved it. Cheers!!😁
2:50 Meet Donald the Land Cruiser❤ It's even Yellow, to match the girls' hair😊 I think the younger chipmunk is called Jessica, not sure for hwr sister. They are Angels, both!
An allround lovely video, thanks for sharing. We've been lucky to visit NZ for a long holiday and NZ nature's brauty is still vivid in my memory. There is one thing that stood out to me tough: The Kiwis look after preserving nature, it apoeared much more a common mindset than other places.
Not that it’s any of my business, but RUclips is funny in the way you feel like you know the person you’ve followed for years. Maybe your quality of life would be better back here? Sure you’ve considered it.
Hi Nick 🙋♂️ !! Wow !! So nice of them to name their Land Cruiser after me 🛻😊👍 !! Thanks for this delightful two part family tour in New Zealand 🇳🇿!! Great footage, wonderful views and a lot of fun 🤩✅ along the way !! Best wishes, cheers, Don 👋 !
I was just thinking on that treacherous stretch, which was probably worse (I hope!) on camera with that fisheye view but still... what the heck if you have a break down?! In that zone only one of those Toyotas will do!
Nick…been a fan for years…driving a 2022 carrera and a 2014 Cayman…leaving pensacola for Palmerston next Thursday👍👍👍What suggestions do you have?..Be there for 10days
Amazing views and what a lovely house! Though I'm torn between this one and your mother's house in part one - Who doesn't want a turret?! 🙃 Can I ask where you get your classical music from? It has a very 'clean' sound compared to other recordings - Thanks!
This is like our Open Space Preserves in California, they used to be huge Spanish land grant ranches. Some are still privately held, but few fully intact. The Open Space Preserve idea always seemed like a good solution for a rapidly populating area as it preserves the land for grazing and outdoor activity. If I had to think of a negative for this amazing property it would be the lack of public access, not saying it should be taken from them though. It's tough living in a place with all land privately held and having little access to nature, where I am currently, compared to where I grew up.
There is an enormous amount of public land in NZ - 28% of the country if you count Māori land, and a lot of that is in the South Island, and then there is the Queen's* chain (public access to almost all waterways, lakes and beaches). *still the Queen's Chain because it refers to Queen Victoria.
How on earth did your brother in law trust his life and his two daughters in a goat path in the mountain in the hands of a left driving tourist who drives Porsches on U.S highways.
At the risk of sounding sappy, I love that you do your best to stay connected with the fam. That pure honesty and affection just jumps out of these NZ videos. Thank you, Nick.
Checking oil and engine temps after starting the vehicle....such a pilot move
There is no WiFi password on my sisters farm as there are no other people as far as the eye can see.
As an unbiased observer, I can say New Zealand is an incredibly beautiful place, with genuinely nice people.
…. and Nick 😉
Beautiful place there Nick, and those chipmonks steal the show. Safe travels old bean.
The most charming video you've made so far.
Clean air, unspoiled terrain, heaven on earth.
The Toyotas really need some alcantara bits, to pucker up the interior, Nick. And some deviated stitches.
I guess this is what heaven looks like: beautiful scenery and nice, happy people.
Simply spectacular Nick! Sounds like your sister and family have their hands full looking after that size of Station!
Love that you refer to it as a “farm house”. Beautiful family and country. Thanks for sharing. Bucket list trip for us!
Gonna need to put the choke back in lol cute
Gorgeous! It IS the most beautiful country in the world, at least of the ones I've been to. Awesome nieces too! "Nick, are you bumping your hid?" ☺

This was a lovely look @ your mom's place in NZ! Just a beautiful place to be raised at Nick!

You said 'take you' but did not call; I would have gone. It has been about 25 years and still looks unspoiled. We are lucky to have you.

Wonderful video of your sister and family. She's obviously extraordinarily patient having you for a brother. Looking forward to seeing parts, 3, 4, 5, etc.!

Nothing says NZ High Country station better than a mustard yellow 45 Series Landcruiser!

I’m going in January I can’t wait
Great video, I could have watched another 30 minutes of this content!

Ah the indestructible Toyota Hilux. Cheers Nick, the scenery out there looks incredible. NZ is high on my list of places to visit someday.
I was just thinking on that treacherous stretch, which was probably worse (I hope!) on camera with that fisheye view but still... what the heck if you have a break down?! In that zone only one of those Toyotas will do!
The vehicles sure look funny south of the equator…oh yeah, it’s the camera!
Now this is what I call living!
Nice 👍👍
Say hello to Bret and Jemaine back on the farm 👋
Nick…been a fan for years…driving a 2022 carrera and a 2014 Cayman…leaving pensacola for Palmerston next Thursday👍👍👍What suggestions do you have?..Be there for 10days
Have you ever seen your brother-in-law and Roger Taylor from Queen in the same room?
I would gather that there are not many Porsches on the south island, based on the roads, ...er, paths.
Farm tracks….
How is the drone camera operating inside the car?
It would have been funny if you had bumped into Peter Zeihan.
Great video, no comment on the camera :)
Amazing views and what a lovely house! Though I'm torn between this one and your mother's house in part one - Who doesn't want a turret?! 🙃 Can I ask where you get your classical music from? It has a very 'clean' sound compared to other recordings - Thanks!
Yep Beautiful . 5000 is a lot of sheep ... where they at ? You think maybe they sensed something and got hid ... like weather .... or something ?
hi!Yo,you created best ~take care,))
How’s New Zeeland in the lethal bugs and snake department compared to Australia?
Are there major differences between the toyota hilux and tacoma?
Completely different trucks
Seatbelts please Nick! At least for the girls
That camera! 😞
I see a ranch in your futur , that will be $5 usd my friend ( canadian fortune telling ) lolll😂
I wonder why anyone would leave such a beautiful place?
Money jobs and travel. Most of us kiwis move to australia or the U.K. as we get bored by nz life

Nice video and Nice family.
Please dont use that stupid camera again! 😢

None of you guys are poor are you ?
