I met you Mr. Sammy breifly when you were making the video to 3rd rate romance in Opelousas at the "famous" Oaks Motel!! lmao!! you were so kind and then you drove off on your motorcycle. I met Sammy early 90's or so...I went to the VIP only pre-Grand Opening of a restaurant Reba was opening in Atlanta, had a friend worked w/her record label office in Atl and he got VIP passes to the Grand Opening for like 5 of us, Sammy was there along w/other artists on the same label, I was prob 27...my only red carpet entrance, of the same the country artists got out of limo's and walked going in...bleachers for fans to sit taking pics...I was already feeling comfortably loose from drinks when we got there...there was going to be a smallish private concert in the restaurant area of all the country artists there, and we got to hang out in a VIP room w/hors d'eauvres w/all the country artists and other guests before the mini-concert, and I only made an ass out of myself w/one, Sammy, lol...loose turned to lit in no time, but I'm a happy drunk and like to have fun, walked by Sammy and talked and before I went to get another drink I said nice meeting you, and are you going to sing Haunted HOUSE...Sammy was wonderfully chatty and polite, but as I walked away to get another drink was thinking why did he look at me so weird at the end, right then I thought oh shit I said Haunted HOUSE, lol. Next thing you know I'm getting pics taken laid back across the engine of one of Dale Earnhardts black #3 race cars they had there w/the hood open up...great fun, great memories, great music! #3 car pic me laid back on the engine on the wall in my den, lol.
And on the seventh day, the Lord said let there no longer be ads. And it was so. And he saw that this lack of ads was good. And he called this good "Adblock Plus".
