@@rare9187 Sungchan, Shotaro, Seunghan, Eunseok and Shohei was supposed to debut under NCT Tokyo. But as SM entered the 3.0 era, they pulled Sungchan and Shotaro out of NCT, along with SMRookies Seunghan and Eunseok to debut in RIIZE. As for Shohei, they said he couldn't join NCT Tokyo bcs of "health reasons". However SM has released a statement that they're gonna support Shohei's future gigs.
But as an SMstan since '09, I'd like to believe that I know a thing or two about SM, and I'm pessimistic about their statement.

@@rare9187 SM 3.0 era is basically their new business and development strategy after LSM leaving the company. They are announcing various plans about their artists, including their new 5 quarters and which artists each quarter will be responsible for, NCT abandoning their 'limitless member' concept, NCT last unit, RIIZE, and one new girl group.
There's so much more information about each SM artist's plans and I can't remember them all, so if you are still curious about it, you can research it on Google or SM's socials.

@@rare9187so you know how every year or two they release a NCT group song from 2020 they kept a concept to add new members to NCT. NCT 2021 was supposed to debut with NCT from the members of RIIZE but NCT 2023 album came out this year while at it a New version of NCT Tokyo ended up being at the NCT concert in Japan.
The new NCT Tokyo members are Sion, Riku, Yushi, Daeyoung, Roy, and Sakura.
Hope this helps understand NCT’s concepts as a whole cause I got confused too.

Initially, the five members in the video were to debut with nct tokyo (now nct wish), but that was scrapped. Anton, Sohee, and Wonbin were scheduled to debut with a new group (now RIIZE) separate from nct, so at the time of the video, they were trainees who could not yet be released to the public.
