ahhh this is a loaded question! I think it is unfortunate that the canadian government did not properly address/forsee the issues that indian international students/temp workers are now being blamed for. Unfortunately, they have become the immigrant scapegoats of the current moment (historically, there is always one group ex germans during ww1, italians in the postwar period, Chinese people in the late 19th century & covid). I personally don't spend my days hating on any particular group and I have a few wonderful friends from this group/the diaspora that I am glad to call part of my community. Other Canadians may differ in opinion.
