I actually think it's a shame the mirror image version got completely removed from the game. I would have much rather preferred if they had instead found a middle ground to make both the Spec Blades and Mirror image versions equally strong and viable :/

I agree with DeejayF. Mirror image was so enjoyable to play. Nerfing it completely was disappointing for s25. But this setup is just as good, maybe not S tier, but a great playable A tier for sure.
It's quite sad that Mirror Images were viable after literally 9 years of absolute garbage and now they are garbage again, because it's such an interesting spell to play with.

This build without soul shards is tough. I was clearing GR 120 to 125 solo with ease during season 25 (which is now over), and now I struggle to finish a GR 115 - 110 (I am Paragon 1170). I wouldn’t say that the build is not “useful” for non season play… but if you’re looking to dominate GRs, you may want to look elsewhere in regard to class choice, as Firebird Flame Blades is currently as strong as any Wizard can get in D3.
Electrocute with Forked Lightning rune works as well for long distance and triggering the ignite damage [Update 2024: I now use Familiar (Sparkflint Rune) auto-shoots fireballs which procs the Ignite and shreds through elites/RGs

If you're running elemental exposure, couldn't you run Black Hole (Supermassive) for elec dmg, Teleport (Calamity) for arcane damage and bonus chain stun locking, fire dmg is obviously covered and cold damage on the weapon to get all 4 elements? This would make elemental exposure stay up at all times.
That Wizard nerf.. is like a 10GR nerf.. god damn. I play Non Season and it's as weak as Vyr Archon (was for 2 years)... It's not even fun anymore to use Firebird. 😑
I still prefer Karini + Storm Armor along with a ranged fire spell (e.g. MM, Electrocute, Meteor, Blizzard, Arc torrent, AO Scorch, etc), than the Explosive Blast/OoID cheese for just +40% dmg). Plus I get to stay well back & stay alive! Also, you can then use Sparkflint for a bit of extra dmg if you like. This build is fine up to GR100, maybe 120, not sure how ppl can stand the constant numlock DOOF-DOOF-DOOF of Exp Blast, bleh. Plus, my understanding was that the 150K% damage only came mostly from the Firebird set + weapon bonus, and nothing else really made a lot of difference (fire spell is just used to trigger the 150K X base damage - is that wrong...?). Isn't that why the pissy Mirror Images with only 10% of your weapon dmg could still steamroll most enemies...? :-/
i've tried almost all teh classes in d3 and i just cannot imagine any of them being as fun as wizard, most i've tried thur the challenge rifts but i also leveled up a monk and the monk is fun but the wizard is most fun

I've been using a Deathwish instead of the Fragment of Destiny, and its been working well. If anyone knows a solid reason not to, please let me know. Also, read the Force Armor rune for Energy Armor, anyone else see that?
You can’t get the damage bonus from deathwish while using flame blades. If you’re on console then deathwish is still part of the build, since you can channel while casting twisters.
@@FutureCable34 Using etched sigil means you have to drop firebirds eye causing you to lose aughlids or crimsons and you are only firing one twister every second or two. On console, firebirds twister stacks a bunch of attack speed to spam out twisters while channeling.
Assuming you have perfect gear, does maxed out resource cost reduction negate the need for any APoC (Arcane Power on Crit)? I've yet to see any guide or build not have at least 1, ususally on the offhand. In this video's case, instead of the Cool Down Reduction, is probably more achievable then so much resource cost.
Taking a closer look at the footage I think he is not using grandeur at all. Rather some really tanky version of this build. He is using Aquilla Curass He is not using gogok 26k mainstat and only a 10min clear on 137?
He put the orb of infinite sadness in the cube. It’s the one that buffs you when you use explosive blast. And no, cube does not stack. You can’t “double dip”
Incapacitate means crowd control in this game right? Edit if so I played a Freeze lightning TR monk last season it could have really benefit from the pain shard since it both freezes enemies and slows enemies while still doing great damage and +100% Crit Chance uptime would be an absolute boon for this season and the build i mentioned
Dude i found a Legendary Source that's legendary power is INSANE it constantly casts Tornado while casting Desintigrate & the most OP part is the Tornados dont cost you any Arcane power so im using that for my off hand but the really weird thing is i cant remember the name of it & when i looked it up i cant find it listed anywhere 🤔
Gameplay is actually using a teamplay variant with slightly different gearing, using CoE and dropping rorg and auhgild, it's more aggressive and squishier
Does the +20% to Fire Skill Damage on bracers (or amulet) really works for Firebird? The first season this build came out, it was said that elemental damage didn't buff this, because we are not doing damage with a FIre skill. THe fire skill is just triggering the damage from the FIreBird set. But now everyone runs with Fire elemental damage on bracers and amulet. Can someone clarify if this really buffs and how can it? Thanks!
Calamity rune on teleport stuns for one second & with Dovu energy trap necklace on your companion it stuns for 2 and since you can spam teleport it works really well.
Cause the set scales with intelligence, personally id go ruby but some people go full glass cannon and buffs their intelligence as far as the game will take them with Wis WD or Necro its why you see top players with like 20K main stat at the least by the end of the season
It is also good. It is a great build if you prefer the passive playstyle it provides. It is weaker than the flameblade version by about 20% so you wont push as high
@@sirludicrous7823 Except the Firebird 2piece makes you "ressurect" at a spot, means you will have to remain there for 1second. If after rebirth you are still in molten explosions etc. you will activate character passive instantly.

There's a low level and high level version of that set. It's silly and confusing. But if the items you craft are not level 70, then you're not using the correct version. Gotta get the plan for the high level one
@Djuntas Yes totally agree, think the game has still active players, it is not dead, they are also keep updating and balancing the game, so actually there is a future of that D3 if they decided to contineu on profect and create a next exp then can change the game and they can add new contents with updating the graphics also
@@Djuntas This is much more valid criticism and i totally agree. I think a lot of people play it for the builds, rather than varied content, but the season themes do hard work to spice it up a little and i think they are quite nice

Monk fun and easy once you get 6pc Innas, Wiz is very tanky, not as easy to play as monk, Barb is almost useless this season I think

I have been playing that build, with myken's ball of hate and Velvet camaral. Very fun and strong but still not quite as strong as Flame Blades

Thoughts on relying on Wand of Woh and Explosive Blast? I just really like the chain reaction detonation.
It is also good. It is a great build if you prefer the passive playstyle it provides.

This build is total TRASH now. You get 1-shot dead at T10. You can farm low level stuff, but this build is total garbage right now.
