If anybody is interested in the coat colors (according to Star Stable): 0:43 - Silver 0:57 - W21 1:38 - Tobiano Black 2:50 - Black Dun 3:19 - Black 7:11 - Chestnut
Icelandics are kinda supposed to be stiff in the back, they're not dressage ponies but they have to be very stable, strong and need to take their owner over an island with almost no roads until a few years ago. That's what they're bred for and thats why most if the 'action' takes place on the forehand (front) and almost none in the backhand (back). Now they're also used as showponies and they judge mostly on stable back, and flashy forelegs :) also head positions

I recommend joining Equine colour genetics group on Facebook and reading up about the different KIT mutations! Max white horses are white from birth as their whole body is a big pinto marking, it doesn’t ‘develop’.

I got the last one that Violet looked at and named it Maskedrabbit, and his nickname is Clyde. I was randomizing the name and then I landed on Masked(other name) and thought, "Hmm, I like that." Then looked up where the name Clyde came from - it was from Scotland and Ireland - and named it after the country's nation animal -- a rabbit! I overall love the new Icelandics and that the slow gallop is like a faster tolt. Love your videos Violet! ❤

The one you thought was an Appaloosa is actually a dominant white, which was newly discovered in Icelandic horses. The sso horse is based off a stallion called Ellert frá Baldurshaga, where the W21 gene was first discovered.

I feel like everytime someone finds a new horse in the files of star stable star stable release it asap so i feel like they don’t get things done. I think the tölt should be faster. And i don’t get why the slow gallop makes it pas (i don’t know if it’s called that in english)
The Icelandic horse we had was also very stiff in the back, most Icelandics I've seen have also had a kind of trot on the hind legs during canter. So I think it's pretty normal haha. Our's did it too
The one with this eye color thing is called Sabino which is my favourite (also i can be your color expert)the other one beside the pinto is a blue roan and the dark one is just dark bay and id say its a silver dapple in Germany we would call it Windfarben but im not completely sure.
1/13 how rare heterochromia is depends on what type (like if it’s one eye is one color and the other eye is a different or if they eye is spilt with 2 different colors there many more but like that) and for the ‘Appaloosa’ that’s a W21
There are actually flying pace races on ice and the horses are fine. I've been riding icelandic horses all my life and if you never did you should really try it. I could never live without tölt^^
You know....I think the next update in the game should be a quiz for non star riders and star riders to do if they cant decide what color of some kind of horse they want.
When you mentioned your cat boots, I just remembered when I was a kid I had a girl kitten i loved, i named her little red boots after a pair of red western styled boots I also loved. 🤔
There is this one thing Why the horse looks stiff and that si because their legs are mooving, but the body is not. Horses also stretch their body while running and that stuff so i think that is the reason Why the games look a little odd. But the black and white is definitly my fav
