You made me skip to that timestamp to see what in blue-blazes you were talking about hahaha. ♥ AWW THANK YOU, honestly, the sketch for this one? (I super loved)
Me: I don’t remember her being blue *watches other vids* Me: Why is she blue now?. >_> *reads description* Me: Ohhhhhhhh 👀 Also, do you have any funny DnD times?? Those would def make some great vids
I love watching people draw and their process so this was very enjoyable! I was just missing your video’s yesterday and hoping you would come back 😅. This drawing is amazing I’m just blown away! One question though what blending mode did you use for the gold? I’ve been working on figuring out blending modes lately! I’m so very curious!!!!
Aww ;u; I have so many video projects backed up, its seriously just been my bad learning how to juggle everything lol ♥ BUT IM STILL HERE!! AS FOR THE GOLD. I had to rewatch it to see what I did this time :P So I lay in a fairly middle-saturated yellow, turn the layer mode to 'shade-shine' (which is only in SAI, the closest equivalent in other programs would be 'color dodge' or 'glow dodge' I -think-) then I lock the layer opacity, and throw on some reflective shadows. Since shiny gold is reflective, I pull some warmth from her cloak into the shadows, and keep the cool light yellow for the shiny parts, since the light elements are blue(cool) And I balanced with different sort of greenish/de-saturated yellows for the side plane of the trim and other little areas ;u; I HOPE WORDS HELP, this is so much easier to visually show lol, video idea~
Hello! Congrats on the laptop! :) I use OBS to record my process and then video edit (which includes speeding up the recordings) on Da Vinci. Clip Studio Paint has its own timelapse options, but I have yet to use it!

@@Momodeary Words do help, thank you!! It is a bummer though they should add that blend mode into other programs.
