Beautiful deck, though the problem with decks that have different artists is they tend to be hit and miss, hot and cold, not cohesive, you end up rarely pulling the deck out because of the cards you don't like, I loved the court cards in this deck, but some of the throwback cards re-using classic rider-waite don't fit in here. I have the 78 Magical Tarot, which I like a lot, but for the few cards I really reject or don't like puts me off reaching for it.
Great, thank you! I love mismatched decks but I prefer them with different backs, because otherwise they remain stand alones, you can at most use one card in your deck each time. Another problem with this otherwise refined and beautiful deck is that it clones the standard RWS a tad too much. There are not many fresh interpretations. It gives the deck cohesion, for those who don't like magpie decks but it takes away the fun for "hardcore"😂 fans.
Nice presentatìon. I am not a fan of mish mash decks either however this one reminds me that the world at large is a real mish mash too....some of the cards are so beautiful, some bland, some downright weird- just like the world! This could be the exception I would make to push my boundaries a bit. Overall, a dynamic , interesting, likeable deck.
