I just got mine last week but I changed pups right away lol I put Suhr Pickups V60LP and Suhr SSV and now I can say it’s my favorite Strat ever 🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥

That narrow neck on the MIM strats sanded down does feel great. Great comparison mate 👍

That’s why I bought it actually mate, that’s definitely come from playing your Strat. The neck on mine is a touch bigger I think… I reckon you’d like my Strat actually, I’ll be recording with the Schecter though… Sounds great I think!

Both guitars sound in the right Strat ball park the Schecter has more definition so maybe the MIM Strat needs the pickups lowering a tad. Tone rider pickups are very good and have put them in previous Strats. I now just have the MIM 75th anniversary and by golly its awesome so I am not touching anything on it but I did lower the pickups slightly as that spreads the Stratiness wider.

Thanks Paul, glad you like them both. They’re quite different guitars in feel & on the whole I think the Schecter is more versatile. I do love the Fender though, it’s as good as any other Strat I’ve played!
