So Solid Crew were huge in terms of the impact they had. I mean it’s hard to make comparisons to any US groups but in terms of impact maybe they’re as iconic to the UK scene as Wu Tang is to US hip hop. One of their members was Ashley Walters (known as Asher D) and he went into acting. He was in the Get Rich or Die Tryin movie and later took the lead role of Dushane in Top Boy
Also Skepta is in BBK (Boy Better Know) together with his brother Jme and others. Wiley used to be part of BBK too but he has problems with Skepta. At one point BBK even had their own prepaid mobile network, a bit like boost mobile in the US

14:00 biggest 🧢...there are a good few groups that are better and have done more than ofb...so solid crew, pay as you go, roll deep, bbk etc...even if we was talking straight drill i'd put harlem over them...but that's not to take anything away from ofb they will by the end of it go down as one of the goats...just not yet.
