Cool opening riff would like a little more mids, sounds too scooped but I like mids so maybe it's just my ears on that opening riff. Great review regardless!
Hey man! I love your work. I’m trying to record fuzz guitar better. Was wondering what your process is like. Do you mic your amp with the fuzz tone, or do you plugin straight to your mixer/etc. and then add your fuzz as external hardware? Or something in between idk. Also, do you do any processing for these demos? Would appreciate your help!
I've got an older video that shows my full workflow for filming a demo, but here's the quick version: I record with a Two Notes Captor so I can record my tube amp quietly and use the cab sim on that, then I put the tiniest bit of compression on the recording, but nothing that fundamentally changes the sound, just makes it more listenable

Beautiful design and tone, but this is a pedal for collectors and career boutique showmen. Nothing about the alphanumeric labeling is practical, or easy to understand. I'd spend half my time referencing the manual to figure out what "A" does if "1" is engaged with "0" diodes. A beautiful looking device, but not for the faint of heart, or average bedroom musician. (Especially at $269...)
I plan to buy 3 of them, so I can set & forget. All my boost, drive & fuzz needs satisfied … for now 😂
Instead of referencing the manual, you could always use your ears. Much more effective anyway. I mean, it's an overdrive pedal, so can't be that complicated.
