@@Bruh-ss7bd for instance there's a scene in the Steptoe & Son episode "Loathe Story" in which Harold dreams of his abusive father Albert beating him, which is a horrendously depressing concept but the execution is what makes it hilarious since in his sleep talking he does a silly impersonation of his father, sounding something like an old bat disjointedly cackling "I'll beat you! It wasn't good most of the jokes didn't land. I mean it did try new things and they get credit for that but it was mostly just random for random's sake. The moment from this show that will forever live rent free in my head is the part where some mother was running from whatever while screaming “My baby!” before a guy in a car says “Her baby!” and then he crashes.
Uncle Grandpa is the only CN series that could string together a bunch of unrelating concepts that would make no sense written down but suddenly make sense when made into a show.
Im convinced this show was definitely meant for zaza and shrooms because as kids we probably didnt catch on to the absurd humor compared to young adults now.
I just imagined A Breaking Bad -Uncle Grandpa crossover. Like Uncle Grandpa is Walter White Mr Gus is Gus Fring (ironically, there’s a background character in this show that kinda looks like Gus Fring) Pizza Steve as Jesse Pinkman Bruh why did I make this comment??
