I have the little plastic Santa in his sleigh and his reindeer. Purchased in the late 1960’s from a “dime store”. (Showing my age). Santa came with four small paper- mache buildings. A white church, red barn and two white houses. Santa was displayed as sledding around the houses.
Ann,.I really appreciate your respect of vintage and family Christmas decor. I remember from the early 60s a clear plastic tree about a foot high with spikes on the branches that my mother put gum drops on. I thought it was the most beautiful and colorful thing!
I grew up with those red bells and I was born in 1955 so that was a trip to see them in such good condition... Thank You for sharing it's always fun to see what you have to share!
Your maximalist videos are always the best! While farmhouse style has its place and is so well loved, I just adore the cozy, classical feel of darker colors, silver platters, and textures. Your Christmas home is stunning and does such a great job of blending nostalgic pieces with classic decor. Well done! Thanks so much for sharing your home with all of us.
Ann all of your vintage Christmas decor is stunning. The Christmas Bells are so cute. They look like some bells my mom and dad use to have, except theirs only had 3 bells. I would definitely keep the that box because the box is worth more than the items. I hope you have a blessed evening friend. ☃️🎄❤️
Hi Ann Love all the vintage finds your Family found for you. Yes, the Santa and Reindeer went on a bakery cake. The Bells are awesome! Hugs, Pam ❤️🌹✝️🎅🎄⛄
The vintage finds you were gifted bring back fond childhood memories. The small santa with reindeer is similar to the one my mom had with her Christmas village under the Christmas tree. I remember it very well throughout my childhood during the 60s.
Ann I love the Santa you put your plant in and the plates are cute as can be. All the vintage pieces your Mom brought you are wonderful. You are so right, the old packaging is beautiful. Happy decorating. Love and blessings ❤️💚❤️
Thank you so much! Each piece is a gift from my husband for special days like our sons getting married and our granddaughters being born! The cable bracelets are David Yurman and the chunky link is from Tiffany’s. ❤️
@@annscarberry3106 you are a Grandmother? What? You are very youthful and pretty. Today is my first time finding your channel. I had that 45 record as a child and my Aunt had the Santa with reindeer. Such fond memories. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. 🎄
Ann, I enjoy watching you decorate your gorgeous table throughout the seasons. It looks so festive. How lovely that your parents and sister found vintage finds for you. 🤶🧑🎄
@@annscarberry3106m my sister and I were talking; the sleigh was also placed on a floral arrangement. We had a few different items that were included in delivered poinsettias, and centerpieces.
Good evening Ann. I love all vintage Christmas and just like you, I love the packaging!! So colorful and the animation is wonderful; nothing like we find now. Although, some stores are getting into the reproductions, which is fine with me.😊. Take care Ann and have a wonderful week. Sincerely, Diane from Missouri 😊
I have one of those Santa jars .I thought it was a cookie jar and the lid had broken. LOL! I use it next to my stove for a utensil holder. So cute! You need something to prop up the little Santa cup, you can't see it at all. Great vintage items!
Hi Ann ( without an E , sorry call me silly haha. I just remember watching Anne of Green Cables and she would always say Anne with an E) I truly loved seeing all of your vintage Christmas items, I bet your grand daughters love looking at all of your treasures !!!Blessings , Paula
