Honestly, I was so grateful for how long they made the scene, instead of making it short. It made it 100 times more meaningful because this was what he was fighting for; the chance to see his parents one last time.
Same, I remember when I watched the trailer for the final episode and they made it seem like the parents didn’t recognize him because he wasn’t 11 anymore and then they walked into the white light, I literally cried. He went through all of that only for his parents to not even recognize him. I’m so glad that I was fooled, If it did end like that I wouldn’t have felt the closure that I needed to feel. I’m glad they made this scene long, it’s everything I needed.
@Mikiel Andrei Chico I said the same thing but then I remembered how they were both treated by their fathers, they were both treated like crap by their fathers, they were both used by their fathers, they were both abused by their fathers, that’s the only thing that makes sense to me. At the end hyeok-u came to everyone he hurt and apologized, so I don’t think he will become an evil spirit. So in conclusion I think the evil spirit meant they were the same because of how they were treated by their fathers.

His father’s decision to let them die also by poisoning his family. About Ha Na using its power, I think its considerable for it is Muns family...and for some reason that everything is okay because of Mun’s doing as a counter. About Hyeok, it’s true that at first he has a bad spirit but everything changed when the table has turned, at the time when he’s the one being bullied....and realizing that his father might kill him. He was afraid and no where to go, and that’s when he come to Mun for help. And for some reason that he’s bad at first, he was easily used by his father’s bad spirit.

Glad the actor who played the dad got this role. It’s nice to see him in a more serious role. He was good at comedy in Strong Woman Bon Song but I like his role here. :)

Somoon was hoping his parent would recognized him but when they did recognized him he became stunned and felt awkward when his mother was holding him indicated that it has been long since he hold his mom.. he can't speak, he was speechless.. when his mother asked him why he doesn't speak, he gets up and started to speak everything he keeps in his mind all his life... That was such a powerful scene.. byeonggyu did a really good jod at doing those awkward yet happy expression and his crying mess was very painful to watch.. my tears keep flowing during that scene
I was so.upset when they were on their way but when his mother noticed him my eyes balled of relief. But when his grandparents saw them I sobbed even more. They deserved proper goodbyes.😭
I cried so hard during this scene and was so happy that So Mun finally got to meet his parents but I was honestly kinda disappointed by the last fight they had. They went through so many things just to fight that demon off and had many great fighting scenes just for the final battle to end so quickly, simple, and soon.
I'm a late Uncanny Counter enthusiast but I had to get this out somewhere (I'm obsessed with the show now for your information) Anyway, I felt like the lines that hit me the most in this particular scene (+ pretty much one of my favorite scene/lines in season 1) is when So Mun said 'Now, I don't have to think like that anymore, right?' (3:49) which is the one right after he said he thought he was responsible for their death. Idk how to explain it but that lines portrays just how vulnerable and emotionally burdened So Mun has been growing up ever since the accident. Sure, he put on a smile and this cheerful facade around his grandparents and friends, but deeply inside he was being eaten away from that feeling of 'what if he hadn't lie about his homework' or 'what if he hadn't somehow forced his parents to pick him up' and to think that for a child living 7 years of his life always imagining these 'what ifs' and blaming himself for an accident that he thought wouldn't have happened if he haven't acted that way, my heart just breaks for him. Besides, Byeonggyu did sooooo well in portraying this part cause So Mun literally turns into a small child again in front of his parents who he had been missing. Urghhhh, I just can't.....Like I just wanna give So Mun a comforting hug so much and just reassure him that it was definitely not his fault when I watched this part
I didn't expect to cry today 😭. Not even joking, the tears are flowing down my cheeks. At first they were sad tears but turned into happy ones. This whole scene from him meeting his parents to the grandparents meeting them was so well done. If you didn't cry at this then what is wrong with you. ♥️
Just got the last two chapters in the US on netflix. This was a wonderful series full of heart warming scenes. I watched it twice and loved all over again. I dont speak korean and I'm slow with the sub-titles...The last chapter was great, during many many of the chapters there were tears in my eyes both for the sad and for the happy secenes. For this chapter and the scenes with Mun's Mom I had a box of tissue's. I am very happy that there will be a second season. I hope Mun & Ha Na get together.
