I quit my job and followed them up the US east coast for 2 tours because I knew from the first incredible show that something that powerful, that beautiful and that emotional was also likely ephemeral.
This brings back memories. I was fortunate to see them on this tour and the crowd was mesmerized by Mark Clifford's live remixes. Such an amazing experience. It gives me chills to relive it now.
Liz fraser is one of my favourite female vocalists . Probably my favourite. I have been listening to the cocteau twins since 1982. Pearly dew drops was the first track I listened to of them. Their music is timeless and beautiful.
simply one the top five "sexyest" songs of all pop music history. and the images ya use hear play right into that vibe, SHUM! and did i see a photo of Ms. Siobhan DeMare in there, too?
does she mean "pitch the baby" as in, give a presentation to network executives about a baby-related reality show, or as in, hurl the baby away at high speed?
I think she means, "I'm masking my emotions with drug use and my bandmates come up with the titles of the songs based on what they think they hear in other songs on the record. Or maybe on this song. Who knows. We were all high."
oh my.. is it you? i love your stuff.. play it all the time. heard you in philly w/deerhunter. amazing that you are here.. but wholly unsurprising. there was c/t... and then everyone else.
Wow, the original version is my favorite Cocteau Twins song but I do not like this live version at all. The bass is not nearly as prominent, and this is not just because it's a bootleg. Drat.
It must have been an absolute trip to see them live!

Wow, that's a really cool live mix. Normally, I can't stand it when bands change the layouts of their songs live.

Perfect!

Wow, I must confess I like it more than the studio version... It's dark and delicious, just the way I like it :D
¡Que versión tan exquisita!

@@AlexAlcyone as in "Pitch". The baby.

“Pitch the Baby” is English slang for “pitch the baby card” … a card playing expression.
I only want to love you
Tales of the Unexpected. TV series...
Ally Garden brought me here

@shum65 :D !
"Delinquent" is such a beautiful word... yet, it means something so bad. How odd.
Fuck.

yeah a little too slow for me. the bass is about as loud as listening to a pillow fall to the floor. I still can't understand the bloody words
