Summary of the sermon:
God hates the action of telling a lie. But in a church, there were some people who told a lie.
One day, all church members were worshiping God and listening to his word. But there was a man who kept telling a lie. He said “Jesus is not the son of God.” He came to church and told the wrong story that Jesus who came to save us from all our sins is not the son of God.
So, Jude wrote a letter to the believers not to be deceived by the liars who try to deceive them.
Likewise, how can we also not be deceived by the people who tell a lie? We must only worship God in our church, listen to his word and learn about it, love God and his word, and pray to him with all our hearts.
When we do them all, God will be very happy, our faith will grow, and we will not be deceived by the liars.
Prayer:
Father God. Thank you for your grace and love. Let us always love your word and pray to you. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
