In 1974-76, while living in New Orleans, I wore those authentic Nik-Nik shirts. I had a rather sheer black one with fancy-lady faces in profile on it, and a brown silky one with tiny little men in coats standing under umbrellas. I loved those shirts so much! Wish I'd kept them. They were expensive then and darn near impossible to find these days. Loved the architectural themed one you found! The Wrapper skirt looks like those paintings where you have to unfocus your eyes to see the design show itself...stereograms, optical illusions...you know! Love it. The dress with black velvet top and floral satin skirt is so flattering on you! Great fit. I love Front Royal, too!
Love the piggy as a pigmom Grate sweaterfinds and I love the wool coat I would ware those boots, very unique, I love that! Fringes of all sorts, yes please 70 s dress yes! Loved the tropical print dress just an cardigan and a little black boot, grate for begining of fall. Finaly we are having si-ome dryer and sunnier days. We had a very rainy summer Unicorn invasion! Love the wavy print skirt Grate finds!
I love seeing collections and then Deep down I’m like, a dead collection 😭 at least at my thrift store, I live in a retirement community. I think it’s sports feast, just because the equipment was on a plate. You always find the best funky tops they always remind me of my dad’s shirt choices in the early 80s.
First off LOVED the day of thrift outfit. It so fun seeing accessories and all put into action! I like that you captured the two sides of thrifting. Goodwill and the likes always hit the adrenaline surge for me of a great deal. The nicer thrift shops I feel like are for those who like knowing paying a bit more goes to a charity or you’re willing to pay more to buy used vs new.
I love that sequined top at the end. I found a red and a green dress of that same style and bought them. They sound like a grass skirt swishing when you walk around in it.
I’ve always found the men’s department jam packed with goodies. Three subsets in men’s: new and never been worn probably gifts; worn to death and he’s still searching the house for it but his wife, girlfriend, family have donated it; high end dead man clothes. Never overlook the men’s department. Found my favorite hand knit cardigan……
I'm also really into the 70s button up shirts (I call them my disco shirts)! The more obnoxious the print, the better in my opinion. I like going full-on 70s and wearing them with flare jeans and platform boots. The only downside is they're usually made of 100% synthetic nylon or polyester so they don't breathe at all. But I'm willing to sweat for fashion.
When I was singing in a cover band in the 80’s, all the guys wore those Nick Nick shirts. They were $$ at the time, heavy slinky polyester and by the end of the night they absorbed all the bar smells…but they looked good,
I went through my dresser drawer last week to see what I could donate to my local thrift store. I have a Spike Lee “Jungle Fever” t shirt I won when a radio station was promoting the 1991 movie. Maybe wore it once. For some reason I again could not give it away and decided I had to keep it. Watching your videos and seeing how you love vintage t shirts, I googled it. I was shocked to see that people were asking from $200.00-$300.00 for it. Wow! Glad I kept it.
😱 wowww!! Yes vintage movie promo tees are particularly valuable because they are such a limited run and very collectible! Very cool that you kept that one.
You know I'm gonna say the Eagle Eye sweater is nice lol. The 2 Western belts are so nice and they look brand new! What a score for what you paid. I like the 70's shirts open and loose on you. That Arrow novelty print looks the best on you n it's fab! Great price for today's thrift store prices. I happen to think your red beanie is so cute on you with the tshirt. Pashwa...to people who contact you to critique you. You do you. Love the squiggle sweater and skirt on you. Your right works with your curves. The velvet dress with flowers so cute on you. Loved your thrift haul, your quirky personality and your hair color is beautiful. 😂🙌❤👌
I absolutely loved that plaid shift dress….where would I find it in your online shops? Love your videos….love your style and your energy!!! I just found your channel and I’ve been binge watching!!!😊😊 I will be 67 in a few months, but I love dressing a in subtle, but funky style. You’ve given me so many great ideas to build on.😊
What compels someone to take the time and effort to reach out and say such a thing? If they don't like it, they dont have to wear it but they sont control everyone else. The entitlement is baffling. RED BEANIE FOREVER
Forever! 😆✊️ Haha I think they probably just meant it as like a helpful styling tip but it's hard to read people in text, right? So my pathology is to be like, "idowhatiwant!!" 😂
Beautiful pieces love them you always bought so many beautiful things and the way you styled them it’s a Wow…👌👌👌👌Happy October Month hope you have an amazing Month..🍁🍂🧡💛🖤🧡💛💛💛🖤🖤💛💛🍾🖤💛🙏🙏🙏🙋🏻♀️

Yes, you beat me to the comment. It is definitely "sports feast".
Ohhhh it totally is on a plate, I missed that!! Good eyes, my friends! 😅 still, what the heck is a "sports feast"? Lolol 👏
Behold! Thee feast of sports! @@NikkiTerryStyle
I love that sequined top at the end. I found a red and a green dress of that same style and bought them. They sound like a grass skirt swishing when you walk around in it.

Oh... kind of. I am pretty much out of room in my cabinet now 😅
Yesssss to all those dagger collar shirts!! 😍 I’m lucky to find 1 vintage piece when thrifting my area.
When I was singing in a cover band in the 80’s, all the guys wore those Nick Nick shirts. They were $$ at the time, heavy slinky polyester and by the end of the night they absorbed all the bar smells…but they looked good,
My brother lives in Virginia and when I go visit, they have the best thrift stores

Gotta love some velvet....
I love the 70s shirts and the Eagle Eye sweater. It never gets cold enough for sweaters and velvet here so I'm enjoying fall vicariously here. 😊
Aww i understand that! I feel so fortunate to live somewhere now with four lovely seasons and Fall is my fave.
That housewares section was off the chain, I loved the tab glasses (never drank it before, but it sure looked cool)
The TAB glasses made me laugh out loud, the worst ever diet soda.
You had my vote for mushrooms!
