And this just popped into my head: I liked how you showed Clana flying together and then Lana flying with Zod/Lex - There's some unintentional (on the writers part, not yours, lol!) symbolism there :)
the "maybe someday love" matched with Lana grabbing him (he finally got his "someday" - Go Team Lex!!) and then the hospital scene in 5x11 with him being so surprised by her kindness..Perfect doesn't begin to cover it! Then you had all those amazing S5 scenes but I appreciate that you put Static in there cause a) it fits, duh! and b) it's a halfway through S6 eppie but it clearly shows how much they loved each other. They had problems but they worked through them cause they couldn't let go :)
I kept replaying it on my comp cause honestly, no one could've done it better :) The way you utilized the utter heartbreakiness of the song and Lex by mixing Clana and Lexana...PERFECT. It was such genius. Plus I love that you decided to use the "That she might be the one person who could learn to love you - I would wait forever for that" line!! Okay so it wasn't matched with that lyric, but it immediately reminds me of the "maybe someday love" line :)
Especially the "full of the love that you deserve" part cause Lex came out of his way to say goodbye to her, like he literally couldn't let her go without saying goodbye! It speaks volumes of his love and appreciation for her :) It's because of that, that it kills me when it cuts to 7x03 (I think, lol!)...I adore how you tend to mix the past with the present cause it just shows to me, that they both know that he loves her beyond anything else and she still does love him
Lex staring out of that window in Lexmas and you masking Lana into it :) His love for Lana literally took his everything cause he was willing to turn his back on his goodness just to be able to protect her - he misunderstood the dream in Lexmas cause he was blinded by his love for her! That part works brilliantly in hindsight cause it shows the lenths and sacrifices hes always willing to make for her which makes me love them just a little bit more and hate the writers a hell of a lot more, lmao!
The way you used the 6x13 scenes after that just emphasized how close he came to achieving his fantasy and it breaks my heart that he didn't :( After that, I love the whole part leading to the chorus cause it's very S6-y and shows how their house of cards was slowly falling apart. The Nemesis clips work so well in the "wondering how it got so bad" part cause at that point Lex must've already known how fragile a line he was walking on with Lana.
Aww, and the chorus...It's like one half of me is "awwing" and the other is sobbing! My absolute favorite part of it is him sitting in jail looking at that picture of them :) and it's not just that scene, it's where you placed it and how the timing of it works insanely well! This vid, okay the song's not beatsy, but you're so good with cutting your clips, everything is always the perfect length, lol!

the writing is questionable. he manipulates her into his web 'tests' her loyalty time and time again becomes obsessed with his projects leading him to neglect her. lies to her about his projects... then at the end when he's playing with his ring he says ''she was my reason for living'' if he was a decent person he wouldn't have done those things to her. if he was a monster he wouldn't speak of her with such sincere reverence. he had an epiphany at that point but it shouldn't change how he felt about her all along. it's like bad soap opera writing. i ship them in an AU where she came to him willingly, with out him having had to hypnotize clark to set their break up in motion and then guilt her for not sleeping with him even tho she's living with him, where he wasn't as despicable, where her love for clark lessened, so she could love someone else.
