I absolutely love your laugh and how happy you get when a project comes together. I would love another video with your faux enameled tiny tags. That project completely sparked my creative juices. Maybe how you use them on projects. Just a thought.❤
Aww thank you so much, if you look through my videos you'll see lots of projects where I use the ephemera I make This is quite an old video I have lots uploaded since I filmed this 🥰
Hi, loved this video. I wanted to add that I am a big fan of SLIGHTLY SANDING T H's paper, and then you get an even more aged look to the projects. it's kraft core sometimes and even if not diff color, it does get grungy . THANKS for bringing us such fun inspiration! Teresa in AZ
i posted my suggestion early when you asked if anyone had that issue and then I see the sanding you did later in the video. forgive me for stepping on your toes! : ) didn't mean too!!
Oh no please don't ever apologise for giving me suggestions I'm open for everything that helps thank you so much I think if I'd of sanded earlier I don't think the ink would've smudged and it would've looked more aged 🥰
Glad you’re feeling better! I also had Covid right before Thanksgiving & it lasted for 23 days! So, I know what you mean! 51:20 Awful! Sanding the washi tape is brilliant! I don’t use it that much because it’s hard to grunge, doesn’t take ink well but sanding! Can’t wait to try it out! TFS! ❤
Ohh no I'm so sorry to hear that Covid is the worsted I got it last January and ended up with long Covid 😩 couldn't believe it when I got it again 😞 Sanding washi tape is too cool I still get surprised by the difference a little sanding does to it 😂 thanks so much lovely 🥰
Oh, oh, oh...I just bought planner essentials dies from Elizabeth craft designs. The one wich looks like stamps. I feel a perfect match with your stamping and those dies.😂 Thank you love, for yet another beautiful video.❤
Hi Toni! Oh I am going to have so much fun catching up with your 300+ videos! You are just what I needed, can’t feel drained of energy & ideas when you’re “in the room”! These tags are crazy wonderful! I’ve had a lot of trouble using distress inks with words & images, they soak into the paper too much. So I mostly use the Versafine & Versafine Claire inks for words & images that I want to be precise & clear. I love the distress & oxides for distressing, creating backgrounds & mixed media, they are awesome that way! Is that the new TH sanding tool & pad? It sure works well in small places! I love the way you sanded the washi tape, absolutely genius! I’m glad you’ve recovered so well from COVID, it’s a real menace. Hope you’ve had a good weekend! Erica❤
Great video and I’m so happy you’re doing better…no fun being sick especially over Christmas. I adore your grungy tags. I went to US Amazon and saw those cool stamps you demoed but in a few minutes went to order and they sold out for current delivery…now it’s end of February for them. As they say snooze ya lose…lol. Hey if you mentioned wanting the tiny hole reinforcements for those tags you made. I have the newer ECD planner page die from Esther #2073 Christmas Tree and it has some tiny reinforcements for the small tag die in that set and would work great on your tags from today. You probably have that die set too so go check it out. Let me know how it works out. Great to have you up to doing videos again! 🥰
Ohh nooooo 😩 I'm sure there from Globeland my lovely hopefully they'll be on there website 🤞🏻 And me too it was really hanging on even though I had antibiotics still didn't want to shift And ohh yes of course I'll get that set out thanks so much my lovely 🥰
Love this. I think you need to do this again, because I don’t have the same paper to try it and I’m living through you, but this time. Put some random washi tape on your paper before you stamp anything and then it will be randomly here and there and you can sand it and make it part of the base. GO! Haha
Welcome back Toni! I’m o glad you are feeling better! I never had much use for my narrow washi tape. You helped me find a use! Thank you! AND you make my day every. Single. Time. You sing, I love it! 😂💕
@@femkeniessen2790 No they're fast drying but oil based so I think that's why they don't like the Kraft stock as it's a thicker more dense cardstock so not as porous as regular card
Welcome back Toni! Glad you are feeling better. Love these little tags - so fun. Next time you have ink that isn't drying - you could always add clear embossing powder to seal them. I have done that several times to save a project. And I am totally digging the washi added and then grunged up a bit! Dealers choice on the projects...even when you do something you have done many times before...I see something new to try.
Toni!! I’m so sorry you’ve been ill and I hope you get fully better soon. Your videos are always a delight. Can you imagine wearing these as actual earrings 😂😂. Thank you so much for yet another fabulous video ❤❤
Hi Toni ~ Glad you're back with your much appreciated chipper self ☺ I love to watch you craft, especially when I am crafting myself 😉 Love these tags and labels and all the great tips... I have seen the sanding discs for the ink daubers... gotta visit Amazon especially seeing how the effect turned out for you!! And sanding washi - wowzer!! Can't wait to try that!! Do you think the TH kraft cardstock would take StazOn ink better? Or I wonder how "way back when" fountain pens were used they would dust something over the ink 🧐 Also, I have made my own "teeny weeny" reinforcers... I punch the card with an 1/8 inch hole punch and then center that hole with a 1/4 inch punch... they're soooo cute and tiny ☺ Blessings~~~
Aww thank you so much sweetheart ☺️ I've heard that his archival ink works and doesn't smudge but I'm pretty sure Stazon will work too Ohhh thank you for the tip I'll definitely be making some mini reinforcer's Hope you have a wonderful NYE 🤍
Love these tickets, tags, and labels. I think your ink is giving you problems because Oxide is part pigment ink and Versafine Clair takes a looooong time to dry. I've seen Tim use Archival ink, and he has no issues with smudging.
Yeah I'm going to try archival strange though as versafine clair is fast drying ink then permanent and waterproof when dry I think it's the surface of the kraftstock tbh I've never had any issues with versafine drying 🤷🏻♀️
Welcome back! So glad to hear that you are feeling better. Thanks so much for noting the issue with the ink on that Tim Holtz paper, I have some but have been afraid to use it, since I didn't really know the properties. I'm sorry it was a disappointment, since you were so excited at the beginning of the video. Loved the tags, though they are really attractive. I wonder, did you ever make the video of you coloring the bugs you made for your specimen slides? I would still really like to see how you did those, they were so beautiful!
Aww thank you so much lovely, I was definitely surprised by the kraftstock but I have been told that archival ink doesn't smudge so I'll definitely be using that ink from now on No i haven't yet but I definitely will I'll film it next week sweetheart 🤍
Toni, the tulip stamp pad is that like a Christmas red? or could you let me know what it would be in the Versafine inks or even the Christmas red in Tim Holtz please. Love this video as I am in awe of your work. Thank you. xx

Another nice use for the colored/craftpaper cardstock is to emboss and then lightly sand the raised images and the borders.

Ow, I think you need the Archival ink from Tim for the Kraft-stock
@@femkeniessen2790 yeah I was thinking the same even though versafine is permanent ink and waterproof it should work the same 🤷🏻♀️

Good evening Natalie 🥰
I was wondering if giving the cardstock a light sanding first, would help stopping the ink smudging.
Ahhh I wonder too it could be the surface that reacts I'll definitely give it a try great idea 🥰
