The humble pork chop is one of the most underrated meats but I think it's really versatile and delicious when cooked nicely. What do you like cooking/eating that isn't as popular as it should be? :)
Will definitely be trying this recipe soon as it’s different from the chops and mash we normally have. I work on a farm so luckily I can buy by the half or quarter pig. It’s a good thing to know I can be sure the animals were well cared for before the end, it somehow makes it even more important not to waste that life so decent recipes are helpful. Talking of humble foods I have recently been working on perfecting my pork faggot recipe… home made are truly a world away from those sad salty packet ones. Cheap and tasty, hot or cold too.
Thanks for sharing this! Yes, it’s definitely important that we don’t waste food and animal welfare is paramount. I’m glad you like this recipe, especially since it’s something passed to me from my mum. I used to love pork faggots when I was a kid but I’ve never made them. I’d love to have the recipe 😊
@@ChowWithLau hope to buy some tomorrow as got day off ....I been looking at my Scotland holiday photos and been busy at work... Start new job at end of the month👍👍👍

Amazing how something so simple can make your mouth water so much. It's the sort if thing my mum would have cooked when I was a kid too
I tend to think that often the simplest food is the best. And when it brings back childhood memories, well you can’t get more wonderful than that 😊
Beautifully done Michael! These come out amazing!
