You should use this time to interview some ladies who have gone through children and came back to be great athletes and write a book for future mothers. Congrats!!!
It’s all an opportunity. Look at the next 9 months as nothing but a grand, precious, and life-changing opportunity. The door has just been flung wide open. Walk right through it. Congratulations 🎉
Congrats⭐️ maybe you ll take a look at Gesa Krause from Germany. She was/ is very transparent with her training during pregnancy and post partem Training.
Thank you for taking us on your journey. It is exciting to hear that you want to share your experience as an athlete navigate training while pregnant. Congratulations on your baby girl!
So exciting! Very grateful that you are willing to share this journey with the world! Very excited to see you interview other woman who have gone through the pregnancy journey!
Congrats! Keep up your training as much as you can and you'll bounce right back after baby arrives. Don't listen to anyone who says you shouldn't train during pregnancy - you know your body and your abilities better than anyone else so just trust your gut and do what you can. I had some pelvic pain that stopped me from doing much in the last two months of pregnancy, but I was riding a bike for most of my pregnancy. Swimming, you will find, is the best thing ever in late pregnancy because it takes the weight off from this enormous belly you need to carry around everywhere. Also, your reaction to the positive pregnancy test was so relatable - it's a surreal feeling to receive this huge news from a little stick you pee on, then you just need to go about your day like normal but the world beneath your feet has just shifted.
Thanks - and I totally plan to train as much as my body will allow. I’ve already had some pelvic pain so been managing running already which was surprising so early. And YES - so hard, esp those first couple months before you can tell anyone - you feel so different but have to hide it!
Jess Learmonth and Vicky Holland would definitely also be worth speaking to! Really hope there is more research on this, some published case studies of athletes at least would be a really valuable.
