    Dear Charles,
Just found this channel today, and I already watched more than 20 videos, cant be more happier than seeing a person truly experiencing serbian culture coming from western countries. All you say in your videos is pretty much it, Im amazed how well informed you are! Really good job!
    Pozdrav iz Hrvatske

My mom is from Donji Milanovac. The reason the town looks very well kept is because those Danube river cruises dock there overnight, which means tourists and $$$. Also an FYI the 80s movies Cao Inspektore was filmed in DM.

Now you are an American expert for Serbia and you can work as a guest teacher / assistant at the University in US, Slavic or Balkan studies department. 😀 I am not kidding. You should apply for such a job. You are qualified 100%.

Great to see some footage from Donji Milanovac. My dad works in the National Park there, too bad he wasn't in DM while you were there.. :/
Can you remember the name of the houseowner that you stayed at, I guess he knows them :)
Also, a late happy birthday, didn't want to spam you on the big day :P

My hometown omg :D . I think there is around 1000 people, but mostly older, because it's now a poor town and many people have moved out or are studying in other cities. It's nicer in the summer, in the autumn it can look like it's a post apocalyptic town or something :D . IF you go trough that part of Serbia again, there is amazing restaurant next to the river in Golubac, I went there once and I really liked their food. Pozdrav :D
