- The 10th anniversary of Ever After brings back a lot of memories and marks many key moments in the band’s history. It was the first time we headlined our own arena tours, and it was the first time we had both video and radio hits. During the touring of the album, we had the opportunity to play more than a hundred shows in America and overseas for the first time. With Ever After we saw our Canadian and international fan base grow. The music writing had developed, the band’s sound progressed, and our fans supported it passionately. It really showed us that the Trenchers were here to stay. It gave us the freedom to continue making the music we loved, and we are forever grateful for that!

It’s crazy that it’s been ten years. Stutter was the first song I ever heard from you guys, loving it when it was 999 Virgin radio. And then later I remember it a few years later, and started listening to the rest of your music when Astoria came around, listening to One Love on the radio too. This Album and it’s songs will always hold a special place in my heart. Love you guys so much. 💙💕

I'm not from Canada but Stutter and the whole album was what I listen to. I was in uni living in Borneo island. I used to listen to Canadian FM radio online & got introduced to this.
That means I have been a fan for 10yrs I found you guys When you first started playing this album on TV my first song I learned was Haven't Had Enough I loved you guys ever since 💙

I went to one of your shows at the tender age of 12 in a small club in Illinois with my best friend when this album was still very new. I am 21 years old now and still cherish that night with all of my heart! I still remember that when I met Mike afterwards, people kept pushing me aside and cutting in front of me because I was so small. Mike noticed and made sure to tell me that I was next and he had everyone clear a space for me:)
ever after is a no skip album!
Ever After played on my Spotify through its autoplay feature. The theatrics, the dynamics, etc made me feel like listening to a modern Bohemian Rhapsody which is definitely an iconic track of all time. I looked up Marianas (with an s) Trench and listened to their other songs. Fast forward more than a year later and I think I've memorized 80% of your songs (definitely more than how much of his own compositions Josh retained into memory by now 🤣).

Geez, I remember first getting in contact with Marianas Trench's music back in 2013 with the Ever After album. I was starting my first job, starting going to uni for design. Falling in love with someone, watching them fall in love with and date someone else, and than later meeting that someone else and realizing they're a really good person and finally starting to come to terms with my broken heart. And Ever After was the ******PERFECT****** soundtrack for that journey. Fuck, I love this album!
The album that literally saved my life 💗
This album was honestly so impactful on my life. Fix Me shaped my middle school years, Masterpiece Theatre shaped my high school years, and this shaped my university years, which were massive ion determining who I'd become as an adult. Plus I could finally afford to buy my own concert tix. Such a ride.

This was the album that sold me on the boys. I shamefully didn’t listen to them before that. Now I have trench tattoos and their music saved my life a million times. Especially ever after. Love you guys! Also Ian eat some fibre!

I first heard of Marianas Trench when iTunes did that free song for a week thing for Cross My Heart, and I loved it, and I had to check out their music! But Ever After has my favourite song, Haven't Had Enough, I started listening to it on repeat while reading a book that has become one of my top favourites ever, and they both bolster each other up to their positions in my favourites! This was a great album, and I continue to love each new one!

In 2014 I heard "Stutter" someone had put it as the background track on a soccer goals compilation video. I wondered why I hadn't heard of this band in Australia. Searched up the albums and loved pretty much every track. One of the FEW bands on earth where you can listen to an album beginning to end. It's *criminal* they don't get more radio play in Aus. Instead, we have mumble rap. FML.

My local gym introduced me to "Desperate Measures." They played the song and video regularly. After going home and listening to the full album, well, the rest is history and I've been a fan ever since.

Wow! Can't believe it's been this long. Although I enjoyed your music, Ever After was what made me really fall in love with Marianas Trench and become a die-hard fan. I still remember jamming out with my closest friends to Ever After when I was in high school! How time flies!
In 2014 a high school friend of mine suggested that I listen to ever after when I told her that I wasn't really into music and just had never gotten into any bands, and so I went home that night and within the first two minutes of the album, I was absolutely hooked. Ever after was the first album in my entire life that I fell in love with, and marianas trench soon after became my favorite band and a years long obsession. It's still holds up (along with every other mt album) as just an amazing and very obviously well thought out piece of work. It will always hold a very special place in my life ❤️

Ever After was actually the first album I bought myself, not as a gift from anyone. I remember sitting in the car the day we picked it up. I was so excited, and really wanted to read through the whole story, but wanted to wait to properly experience it at home… especially because reading in the car makes me nauseous LOL
