I'm pretty sure the glo balls are just uv/blacklight reactive. Think about Viper Night Driving.. the balls glo, but not until the blacklight is on.. She looks beautiful though!
I like the addition of the glow balls. I think they probably will hold up in your application. I tried to use them as regular pinballs. They just didn't seem to hold up well under constant use...IMO

Also when glowballs first cam out I modded some led lights with uv elements. You probably can buy uv leds you can from Titan Pinball

The pink ball looks sad in that prison of black metal. Why not just use clear plastic on the top so you can see it better?
