- Going into the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the ideological left had convinced itself that the BJP’s goose was cooked. That the party, so blinded by its own success, has turned a Nelson’s eye to the sullen and silent voter who will punish the saffron front for “prevaricating” on an OBC-SC-ST caste census, for not creating enough “productive jobs” and for “favouring the rich”.
And when the seven-phase polls began on April 19, the ideological opposition to the NDA began hunting for any indication, however tenuous, to confirm its biases.

Low voter turnout means no anti incumbency against BJP
The drop in voter turnout may also be the result of frustration of INDIA voters as they may already have sensed defeat.
BJP will maintain their voters and gain new ones, opposing parties are loosing thier votes to d BJP. Low voter turn out simply means that d opposing parties is not effective.
Many UPA supporters have givenup on their leaders and did not come to vote and so less vote for the dotted Indi group - This means BJP will win 430+
BJP supporters should not be complacent, every vote counts for large majority and to cross 400.

statistically lower turnout means the party which is having very good organization structure and cadre strength sweeps the elections. Here in this case bjp has better cadre bench strength, organization muscular structure to drive their people to booth and leaps and bounds above india alliance except in kerela ,TN and to an extent WB. They have 55-60% of vote share and grass root connectivity in western, northern and Hindi belt states against them congress or Indi alliance nowhere in the field!
