Yes I have seen alligators in this creek, but still want to kayak on it. So peaceful ❤❤❤😅
I have kayaked all over Florida (and coastal Alabama) and never had a gator bother me. Just keep your distance and don't bother them and you will be fine. You don't need a rack for a kayak. I use two soft foam blocks and bungee cords and it works great. Just make sure the cords are tight as possible. You can buy the blocks online or at a store like Dicks for $20-$25.

My first kayak and trip was in the Okefenokee swamp and there were plenty of alligators and they could have cared less about me. Now the people that were fishing seem to have more interesting trips than I did
Yes that is what I figure. I've seen people kayaking on this creek and the alligators just swim and hide under branches. 💜
