I do love living in a world where one of the most highly respected weeklies in the scene has little mac and ridley in grand finals
peanut is literally improving and sticking to little Mac no matter what and its insane
I miss Sol
Unfortunately no amount of improving will prevent him from getting gimped on ledge
He isn't good with any other character so has no choice lol
@@ohcomeon1111he can get good with another character which shouldn’t take long with his massive amounts of gamesense, but it’s more of his YT and reputation that keeps him playing mac, and the character is fun in the first place

Yeah its really cringe. Id like to see them play little mac in tournament against a -2 matchup and not have there mental absolutely fried. But besides that if peanuts mental wasn't fried he would've done a lot better, but i very much understand his frustrations.
Peanut's brain just gets fried when he is fighting Ridley or something, cuz Creepooba just seemed to have casually shielded through the entirety of reset. Damage from grabs is good but that doesn't really stop him from shielding, maybe I am just not seeing something. Peanut was like not throwing Down-angled F-smashes at ALLL this entire set pretty much.
This matchup is really bad for Mac which is why. Down angled fsmash gets outranged by or whiffs on a lot of Ridley’s shit. Ridley just wins in every phase.
Honestly Peanut doesn’t use gut punch enough, it conditions shield and has so much damage and push back. It’s so busted but mac’s don’t mash it enough, they mash everything else lol

this is Mac's worst matchup. Peanut played extremely well but you can only do so much against a Ridley on this level, this good on taking all the advantages.

it's hard knowing that peanut f hates this matchup. Even if it's not the hardest for mac, it sometimes feels that no matter what he does, ridley just invalidates him with f-tilt and nair. Same thing happens with DK, technicaly not even that bad, but cargo throw single handenly makes the matchup go from a mac favorable to a -2

@@kisameh420 Neutral B isn't strong enough to go through most of Ridley's moves, only fair, maybe weak nair and like jab, and is very laggy if it misses (wich it Will cuz of how good boopa knows the matchup). Also, he does use counter a lot more than in other matchup, but again, creep is one of the Best players againts Mac cuz of how much he has played againts peanut, You can even see that he spaces his moves and always waits slighty more than usual just in case Peanut uses counter
