You have actually briefly seen Bridgett from series 13 before. She plays Mary’s friend that we saw in a flashback in one of the recent Ghosts episodes. I didn’t make the connection that it was the same person until I saw your reaction to the Ghosts episode the other day.
I agree she shouldn't have gotten very many points, but I think Victoria's proposal task was a really sweet moment, especially if you know more about her story with David. The chapter in his audiobook where he talks about meeting her and their relationship is one of the cutest things I've heard...this shows that she is just as happy with him, and that they're the perfect kind of weird for each other.
Just letting you know after this series Gregg has said several times in the show that he will never hand out anymore bonus points, unless the task itself says that there is bonus points to be gained.
The Alan/Guz 1-2 punch of the monster noise is honestly some of the hardest and purest laughter I’ve had from a tv show, and I still don’t really know why 😂 something about everyone’s reactions, especially Greg’s just really got me. Also, Chris and Sophie were two people I had hoped would do taskmaster from early on and was not disappointed at all. Hope you like em as much as I do. 👍

I didn’t have one particular person I was rooting for; I loved all of them (Bridget may have had a small edge, but you need a magnifying glass to see it), and many of the tasks were really good. Have you heard about Taskmaster Jr.? It’s premiering next Friday and has Rose Matafeo and Mike Wozniak hosting, and it’s going to be on RUclips. I can’t wait!

As far as I remember, from 13 onwards we're out of the Lockdown stuff- not only is series 13 a great cast who will argue with each other and the TM, but I reckon a lot of the tasks they couldn't do 10-12 popped up. Imo 13 up to the current 17 are all great casts. I won't say, but I know who your 13 MVP might be (if it's the same as mine).

Also, I didn't know about her, one Wednesday she was the guests on Off Menu and I laughed so much I loved her, next day it was announced she was going to be on Taskmaster. She is one my favorite contestants now!

The main channel feeds me clips of this studio task every 6 months or so and it always destroys me, even watching here knowing what was coming I was laughing to the point of bringing tears to my eyes. The first time I saw it, I had to pause the show to calm down before the scoring. Next season will bring the task I now use to try to sell the show to people
People always use the bonus point Morgana got at the first task as the reason for her win, but people always forget about the janky rules for the bell task, Dez failed and lost 5 points for it, whereas Morgana got it right and got three points.
Taskmaster will have a new season where the participants are all children , the taskmaster will be mattefeo and the assistant wozniak, it would be reallynfun to see you react as it airs starting november 8th

In the ‘community’, she’s generally agreed to be one of the most unfairly overscored contestants ever (along with Noel). Even Desiree (who was on the podcast this week) has apparently formed a lasting grudge against her for how much Greg simped after her. And there was a huge backlash against Greg for the ‘little f***er’ bonus point that he gave out, which was ultimately the one point that gave Morgana the win - so much so that in later seasons he states that he no longer gives out bonus points any more.
I fell for her enthusiasm more than anything. She has that Godliman level of gusto, thats a quality I really look for on this show, just unmitigated drive. I honestly don't think I've ever favoured someone for their appearance, except Jo Brand, she is an absolute smoke show

@dontknowdocare yeah it kinda irks me when he favors people or allows some people to cheat or doesn't disqualify them even when they should be. I know it's a comedy show and it doesn't matter, but it still annoys me a little.
A few episodes ago I was unsure who you'd pick for The Mel. But I think it became clear some time between last ep and this one. Next series? While there's no such thing as BAD UK Taskmaster... I'm personally not a huge fan of this one overall. Of course you'll still see moments that are great, Tasks that are great, but the cast never grabbed me (like this one did, where, like you, Desiree is the only one I never really connected with). That said, I know a lot of others love 13. And there is some great conflict in it. I dunno. Maybe rewatching will give me new perspective on it.
Alan's "Wow Monster" will forever and always be my favorite Taskmaster moment ... no matter how many seasons that it lasts.
