I bought Amaze VX CVT petrol on Feb 2022,(uplift version) odometer shows 3789km in 3months, done 1900km 3day trip from Kolkata to Bangalore and then we went to Kodaikanal from Bangalore it's around 900km. Just awesome car. No complaint. Smooth as butter. In hill , CVT performed exceptional. I am thrilled. In Highway with AC it gave 23.3kmpl, overall (total odometer reading of 3789km) it is giving 16.5kmpl(Highway + Bangalore City traffic). I don't drive without AC. In 2022 CVT make sense. Automatic came in 1940s in US and now in 2022 , India we are still hesitating, come on man. Overtake ,just put in S mode then press the pedal. That's it. Stability in just great. Steering feel is good. Rear seat is like real 20L Sedan. Fit n finish has been rectified over the old version. It's CVT it's not for enthusiasts. Sorry boss there is no rubber band effects. It's CVT boss , it will slowly pickup. Oil is oily and water is water. You can't expect oil to be water and vice versa. 😊 Btw I loved the pedal shifters , you will feel like Schumacher.
Sir how much kms driven so far. How is the mileage. Is service cost more for CVT compared to manual. Is it reliable for 10-15 yrs or 2-3 lac kms. How to get best mileage sir

@@paulpritam7054 Till today my odometer is showing 4100km , it's been only 3 months i purchased the car. For best mileage you need to drive light footed. My 2nd service is due in 5000km , so i can't comment on the service cost. But to buy a CVT it makes sense in 2022 and if you are in City or in rural area, i believe CVT should be the choice. And when it comes to CVT, Honda and Nissan are the best. And these technologies these companies have perfected it. And within 10L , Amaze is the only car that offers you a proper CVT. All other cars under 10L is AMT.

I am very satisfied with my Honda Amaze Diesel CVT, after completing 20000 km run, giving average 23 kmpl on highway with AC. Sports mode if better than Drive Mode but average is 21kmpl

I also love Nexon n tracking from day it was launched but went for Amaze...huge respect for Tata n Ratan tata ji but feel bad that Tata does not have a dealer network that they deserve not all but most has given a very bad consumer experience
Exactly, I wanted to buy a TATA car so bad not went for amaze over altroz just cause of the infamous After sales services of TATA.

I own the same car and variant for 2.5 years.
Generally very easy to drive, spacious. The external body and structure is way better than Maruti cars. Enjoy the steering control. Car stable at moderate to high speeds, engine noise no issue.
Issues: AC motor or blower not sure exactly what, but it started making a mild squeaky noise in 2 years after 4th servicing. Can hear inside the cabin after you switch on the AC. So I took the car back to the service centre. The SA said it is the AC motor making a noise. He said he fixed it but issue is still unresolved.
Body makes a noise on bad roads. Headlights and fog light power pathetic. I switched over to fluorescent lamps at the dealership itself.
After sales service:: SA’s and staff are polite but quality of service should improve.
I feel due to the Indian population density, many people have purchased a car due to affordable prices and bad public transport infrastructure in the cities. so SA’s are unable to handle many cars during servicing and provide quality service due to pressure to service vehicles at a faster pace.

Honda Jazz CVT is even more better especially with more Headroom for Rear Passengers and better Build Quality. That’s why it’s priced more than Honda Amaze.

I have Honda Amaze idtec S 2015 and I take 20+kmpl in city drive and in Nov 2020 I clocked2500km with
26+kmpl .in 150 km stint on NH 1 Prayagraj Allahabad to Varanasi it returned
28+kmpl.Avrage speed80-95 at 2000-2100 rpm.
Best way to control body roll & rear bumps is Roger-ab suspension.

@@dipakojale1430 not bad .. other than internal build quality, I find car ticked all other boxes for me like ease of CVT, good cabin and boot space, reliable brand of Honda, etc.
@@manish1609 ok thanks. So does internal build quality impacts or crates any major issue or extra maintenance in future? Based on limited usage am looking for comfortable and spacious car for family. May be weekend travelling. Not into crusing and having very high expectations like SUV or high end cars.
@@dipakojale1430 no major issues .. some rattling sound from dashboard, if you open your windows, you will hear some minor khad khad sound on bumps, etc. I did not had options like new i20 CVT and Magnite CVT. I hope you have checked those already? Otherwise Honda Jazz is a superior product if it comes in your budget. Otherwise Amaze CVT is not a bad choice
Amaze is one of the best we have taken it to the spiti valley it didn't give us a problem

Exactly... 15-16 on AC in City & 19-20 On AC in Highway in Petrol Manual Variant.

Ive Amaze CVT 2019 petrol. Getting only 10.5 in the city with AC.
Palkit Badala better to give break after 2 hours for longer engine life

For those who think more weight = more safety
The weight of amaze is 900kg
And score 4 star in ncap
there is a catch, Amaze reduced weight by decreasing plastic& using light fabrics.
Maruti reduces weight by decreasing Sheet-metal. still Amaze petrol is 35kg heavier than Dzire and Amaze petrol is almost 100 kgs heavier.
@@Jack68 dzire is unsafe there is no doubt but my point is we can't judge Safty of car by its metal sheet or weight
For example European model baleno has same weight and same metal qulity as indian but have more safety features and score 4 star in eurocap and u know Safty measures of eurocap is much better then ncap
So if same model tested in ncap then it score 5 star.
Honda have save weight 75kg weight from gearbox and 45 kg from fuel lines and plastic fuel tank.
Bhai saab, 4* was for amaze exported to African markets. Not for those sold in India.
Safety according to Indian is sheet metal thickness & weight of the car. Whereas world over its the crumple zone & engine collapsing down which reduces impact which saves occupants in the car.
I strongly believe in India we need body shell thickness, % of steel & crumple zone because of non disciplined drivers who do not want to follow traffic rules & regulation.
Tata's offer safety with strong body shell but lacks World class engines & After sales Services.
Hyundai's & Honda offers peace of mind ownership with the best quality after sales Services with a Smile. Their cars are also good with refined engines, OK safety & affordable maintenance.
I have always observed they ignore Honda Amaze quality and service factor but they keep on suggesting aspire and tigor.

I have an Amaze CVT Petrol, in Mumbai City I have driven 6000km till now, and it gives an average of around 10 only. We did Mumbai Pune Mumbai and I got an average of 12.5 to 13. These are the realistic figures 😮 When it goes on a speed breaker with 4 people in the car, on some speed breakers it touches the breaker, having a ground clearance of 165, (for context Virtus has a GC of 178mm). One reason could be because my Amaze is model S which has 14inch rims, whereas Virtus comes with 16inch rims. But ride quality is very good otherwise, suspension is very bouncy which makes me uncomfortable if I have to drive at a speed of more than 80km/h.

It have 2 performance bands ..one is at low rpm having low torque and pickups ...but one is at high rpm which is rocket ...I felt it

Nexon brother you must try atleast once built, space ,feature ,comfort, power all in all nexon is best family you must try once and you will come to know the difference power almost 120 ps and as a suv it also have a good ground clearance and in built tata cars are the best as per space back seat and front seat are the best in class segment you can easily sit 3 person at back the best family car and for long tours it is also comfortable you must try once both the cars on road and off road mileage is also the same the difference may be one or two but suv is suv brother

Overall it's good. CVT won't disappoint you.
1 point which I noticed-
Suspension are too soft. Usually gets hit when loaded with 5 people. Or you have to drive very slowly in bad roads. But that's with most of sedans.
I'm driving this in Varanasi city. Roads are too crowded. No problem with amaze. Even on highway it's superb.
Not very sporty. Still ivtec sound will give you driving pleasure.
You can definitely go ahead with this car
In order to get better torque, there is something called retrofit hybrid installation, which gives more torque and gives 20% to 30% mileage increase....Companies like Revolo and Altigreen do this.....
Bhai apne ye karaya hai kya. Mujhe bhi amaze ka torque kam lagta hai.

sir this car has got 4 star for south african honda amaze which is made in india and there are some differences in both of them
so pl. dont say this car has got 4 star because it has not got for indian amaze it got that for african amaze
in ncap certificate it is clearly mentioned that that it is valid for south african market
