Finally, someone talks about the filter plastic getting burned, it's a major design flaw. I noticed that many years ago also, and it failed the inspection (in my country). When I first talked about this with the Citroen dealer, they looked at me a bit puzzled. About the LEDs; somehow the P21/5W in led version (I used Philips) does not seem to clearly be visible when breaking. I see a difference but very subtil. I expecting more. I do hope the filter does not burn anymore. Is there any reason to keep the filter if the LED is already red? I assume the filter also somehow isolates the interior reflective part from getting dust. Thank you for you video
Of course, I do have always value from your videos... 🔥👍🔥 The seal kit for the third break light arrived from UK; this will be a job for the holidays...
The tail function is a little over bright. I've let Auxito know. I'm going to tone them down a shade with a 2 ohm resister. I'll do a video. The brake function is also bright, but that's a good thing
Cool, thanks for the feedback. It's been 21-22 months since I did ours and still working great, so very happy with that. Have you seen these ruclips.net/video/it0n-9PgBgQ/видео.html Flippin' awesome. I've got the second one in now and we drove 50 miles across the A5 in the dark and they were great. I'll do a proper halogen vs LED video soon.
CC, I do enjoy your tips on the C1 and have copied some of your tips on my C1, thank you. I want to just change the single reversing light bulb on my C1 to an LED bulb, so can you please tell me which type of LED bulb I need to buy please.
An excellent video! I want to convert my rear lights to LEDs on my 2007 Corsa D. I'm guessing you can still put the appropriate red LEDs into light cluster even if the lense is red?
Hello, I found this video because I read a review of you on the Auxito webpage. You wrote you don't see no difference the bright between the tail lights and stop light. I bough those lights too and I think the same, that's why I decided not to install. You talk about you will use a 1 ohm or 2 ohm resistor, is it possible to use a resistor to down the tail light brightness?
Hey Cyd. Need your help. I posted a comment on one of your saab videos. You were doing the rear brake pads. I'll post it here even though its not related but please help me "What size wind back tool adaptor (the circle adaptor that connects onto wind back tool) for rear caliper piston? Which number from the universal sets? I have a full set but I'm missing one from previous job so don't want to start this job unless I know I have the correct adaptor plate"
I'm not aware that there is any standard convention for 'numbering' the wind back adapters. Nor do I know the number of the one I use. My universal kit has a couple of adapters which will fit the caliper, so maybe yours will have too. My best suggestion is to whip off one caliper and try your adapters. Luckily that won't take long as it's the first step anyway.
@@CycloneCyd Yeh soo true👍. Thank you. I was worrying for nothing and didn't even need to lol. I'll try different ones in the set. Like u said probably more than one fit so if I have lost the correct one another might fit but yes they have numbers on the circle plates
Yeah, they are a bit bright. I've let Auxito know. I used a 6ohm 25W resistor in th eline feeding both lights behind the RH cluster. I suppose I should do a short video showing how.
Must be the screen you're watching on. they are a lovely rich red. the standard bulbs look more orange than red. with them being so much brighter they do swamp out the camera somewhat, which is why I mentioned the colour in the video.

Yes, of course.
@@CycloneCyd brilliant, thank you very much 😌
Does it come with anti-feedback. So when headlight on tail lights will work properly? Txs

The tail light is bright enough to be considered fog lights.. Any luck with putting a resistor?

Ace video sir 👍
What about the red break lights they can't be just white?
The LEDs are red
Im not keen they look too white to me.
