Tbh i sympathize with the hashiras (even the wind and the snake hashiras). As you said, their reasoning is also valid and understandable. Because no matter how much respect they have for their master, they cannot be blind sheep and just follow anything told to them. They also have their own beliefs and experiences that shape these beliefs. As viewers its hard to not be on nezuko’s side, but tbh if i were them, i’d probably be with the hashiras on this one

omg the combo of you mentioning clannad (one of the saddest animes I've ever watched) and seeing the backstory of rui again just came for my tears. I really appreciate the author's writing skills and the VA cast for portraying the vulnerability that the demons feel cause they were once humans too. And I love how Tanjiro is emotionally intelligent enough to sympathize with them, without knowing how they became a demon or what they lost. It speaks volumes about his character. Thank you for these reactions Anthony, as always!

It changes a lot, there can be however many hashira as long as they qualify, however it's canon that at a bare minimum there has been 2 hashira, it's stated there has always been a water and flame hashira in every single generation

I’m glad to hear, some of my buddies think S2 is the best and it tapers off so i’m glad to hear some contrasting opinions. Then again one of my friends said Mugen Train was boring and that was so left field to hear. At the end of the day, yeah the Hashiras were right I guess i’m blinded slightly but our main siblings but also I just wish some type of grace or understanding could’ve been showed how Giyu did too. @@TooPiece I have watched a lot of sports anime like Haikyuu, Kuroko no Basket, Blue Lock, Ao Ashi, etc. And Haikyuu is one of my favorites. Personally, I‘d say Ace of the Diamond is just as good or even better than the popular sports animes. I can tell you one thing that isn’t really a spoiler because it happens in the first episode, but here a warning: - - - - - - - Usually in sports anime the main character goes to a “normal public school”, but in AOD the MC actually goes to a powerhouse. It’s nice to see the perspective of the powerhouse school in this one :)

There was no need to try and “tempt” Nezuko with blood or treat Tanjirou like that. While I UNDERSTAND them, I don’t like how they behaved.

In regards to Ace of the Diamond I’ve never heard of that one, have you watched other sports anime? Do you rate that over popular ones like Haikyuu?
