I once took the stuff sparklers are coated with off of maybe 100 and put it in a glass bottle. Used one sparkler as a fuse, lit it and then sealed the bottle. Luckily I ran far away. First there was an extremely bright light and shortly after the bottle exploded spectacularly.

That was cool even cooler take just one of them big bundles of sparklers and a long fuse and wrap the entire bundle of sparklers with duct tape tite as you can then again with electric tape several layers of both the duct tape and electrical tape anyway it's like Dynamite I didn't believe it until I seen it get far away if that safe had a better seal it would have blown up just like gun powder just fizzles and burns in the open put it under pressure and watch what happens
Yeah I seen this done also. I was fishing at a canal on the gulf near me. And I see some kids playing with firecrackers. This was like 25 years ago btw when they sold real sparklers. But just as they finished they did the finale. I heard a huge explosion and they took off running. I went and checked the spot and saw pieces of tape and sparkler sticks everywhere. It didn't make sense for a while till I learned what exactly happened by how folks made sparkler bombs. Heck I've made them with soda bottles with a little water in them and stuffing a MRE heater inside. Then putting the lid on and shaking it up and throwing it. All sorts of ways to do it. But this is why they quit selling the old wire kind of sprinklers at least in my state

If you're going to complain about fireworks, first take a look in the mirror.

I was nine years old when I thought a large handful of sparklers will be more exciting than one single sparkler in my hand. Needless to say when I started lighting the edge of all the sparklers it started to sparkle the next thing I knew there was a bright flash instantly all the sparklers went up like a flash bulb in my hand everybody turned around to look at this kid holding his hand out in front of him in surprise.
Of course I ran home crying and everybody in the building when I got home from all four corners around the thought somebody was torturing a child in the house from all the screaming and crying that would not stop.
Not to mention how many months it took for the skin to grow back.
Same happened to my friend but with flower pot he was like see me bro I am superman we in excitement after that he never touch cracker 😅
