This video was recorded before the Dreamer/ GO WEST patch and thus no Reboot final damage passive nerf. Also no Cannoneer buffs yet! I also still have event buffs and such.
What an ugly run lol. Very scuffed. Didn't play well at all. From bad bursts to mistimed cleanses, you name it.
I wasn't very sure how to properly burst in p2 specifically. I've just been blowing up normal Damien for the longest time. I had the idea to early throw cannonballs to the left when Damien is coming down from spamming his orbs. Hoped they'd arrive by the time I'd have him bound. Blue balls actually caught up pretty fast. Faster than I expected, so I probably lost a fair bit of damage. Especially when still wanting to set up the rolling rainbow and pirate's banner. At least it's a lesson learned.
If there's any Cannoneers happening to check this out and want to drop some advice, I'd be more than happy.
Not sure how far this Cannoneer will go. Same with my Mercedes. At least for the time being. I'm trying to focus some investments on my Bishop and Zero for a while. Also have inspirations to start up my Bow Master lib. We'll see how it goes, I guess.

Is the changes to the cannoneer make it as good as everyone says it is?

When I did my Cannoneer's weekly bosses yesterday, it did feel a lot smoother. The burst damage on your big cannonballs comes out faster due to the decreased amount of lines. The damage was also buffed substantially.
The same goes for your Origin skills. There's more lines however while some classes got nerfed, Cannoneer was buffed.
All of this is only relevant to burst though. The DPM is otherwise the same. Maybe I haven't invested enough into my Cannoneer but I can't say I noticed a HUGE difference. Maybe it's more noticeable in late/ end-game bosses like Kaling and Kalos.
The change to cm was +70 fd roughly to their bullet bills. Which vastly boosts their burst
