I actually love the concept of “happy wife, happy life“… Masculine energy loves to provide and protect, and feminine energy loves to receive and appreciate. So really, if I am happy, he’s going to be too.
How I love this episode since in Graduate school MFT had to to do individual and couple therapy, with the Married couple It went together. In the real world Couples therapy only do 1 type of therapy the couple and not do the individual since the costs/ insurance. So the couples dont even know its more to do marriage therapy. Thanks Maria, Kev for bringing Justin and Emily.
I would love to see Emily and Elena Cardone work together and promote on the importance on being a mom and the force that is holds everything together AND Maria you have to have Elena Cardone as a guest 🙂
I think you need to have justin, liz and Jaime on to discuss the patriarchy! and I disagree thats it's unintentional. It's a system thats designed to keep old white men with all the power and they absolutely don't want to give it up because they benefit from it.

As a woman who married two men from both ends of the spectrum I cannot understand the body language with Emily. I would love understand this body language she shows. Hear goes .. she leans away. doesn't want to be touched by him. HOW do they have kids?
