I saw the original Shakti while at university in the 1970s-they were great then and they still are. Love, Devotion and Surrender-it's all there in their music. Pure beauty! Thank you for this awesome upload.
Amazing as ever. Experienced them live once. But this concert is best of theirs after UN. Am specially the audience is such a knowledgeable one. Am glad you had it filmed.

McClaughlin is one of that rare breed that just gets better and better with age. BTW just check out Shankar's utterly incredulous look as John pulls off an amazing run, just after he counts him into "Sam" after his previous fluffs. They just seem to be having so much fun
At about 15:17 he's quoting "Crossroads." I loved Birds of Fire, saw JM in Millersville PA in the 70s on a double bill with David Bromberg (believe it) and the Internet led me here. This is sweet. I'm going to enjoy this. Thank you for uploading.
Концерт великолепный, но звук в зале очень плохой.Сразу видно ,что наши "профессионалы" рулили. Для такой звезды нужно было и звукооператора пригласить оттуда.
