Liberals reject Bloc’s old age security motion to increase payments to seniors

In Ottawa there’s a battle underway over whether to increase old age security payments to seniors, an idea put forward by the Bloc Quebecois.
With the Liberal minority government relying on the opposition for support, Wednesday's vote was another test for the Trudeau government.
