Do y’all also know Jesus is black. The church depicts him as white or of a European shade of brown. Because people refuse to believe he has a black. Moses was black. I listened to Chuck missler back in the 70s. I still listen to all his teachings every chance I get. A brilliant and anointed man of God. He was preaching about all that's happening today way before the time. I loved his humility and strong character, integrity, and love of Jesus Christ! When he said the oldest man in the bible died before his father, I was thinking the same thing, MISSLER! crazy how you can hear misslers coined catch phrases in many different preachers material and immediately recognize the source. Love missler, been soaking up his teachings for 10+ years and still finding new material. The man was a legend❤

Thank you, I just purchased the book of Enoch, so this is timely and an answered prayer! I was asking God our Holy Father, why the book of Enoch was not in the King James Version. My grandmother had a 1600 year bible and it had many other books, like Maccabees, Jubilee and many other books that are not in the King James Version. I was inquiring of GOD, if these books are inspired of GOD or not? Thank you Pastor Alan this helps in fighting the good fight of faith and truth through Christ Jesus!! Watching from Central Florida. Enoch gave birth to imminence! Love it! Expectancy!

Those books are called apocryphal books, meaning they weren't written in Hebrew and they are not part of the official cannon. But they're worth a read for history etc.

Only translations and I know of before 1611 were
Gutenberg, Geneva, Tyndale, all predate King James 1611.
I think the pilgrim separatist used the Geneva Bible and lived in Holland for 8 years until the king of England threatened them and they fleed with just a hat and a coat.

God I know no matter our struggle, we can turn to you. God can give me strength to overcome. I want to give up and quit. But I keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children. I’m a single mom. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus. Both of my sons are autistic. My husband died years ago. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and struggling to pay my rent this month and now that I’m home schooling my sons I’m struggling to buy their school supplies. I’m so ashamed I don’t know how I’m going to get through but It’s important to keep faith especially in hard times. I Trust in YOU LORD even though I don’t understand. I know you will provide. Faith over fear!

Enoch 1 not 2 or 3 is legit..if not inspired definitely for history that's the one the Ethiopian Bible has in it. It even says that this book isn't for the Canon but for a generation to come. It helped my paradigm to expand and tied so much of what I didn't understand together. My paradigm was still Sunday school stories.
But the Jews have had copy go by theirs and see what aligns because it starts with angels come nag to mount hermon and it clearly happened

I am grateful for the light of Truth on rightly dividing how the book of Enoch is to be handled and understood in the Light of God’s Holy Word. It is critical in keeping God’s Holy Word in His Rightful place and unadulterated, being careful in, not adding to or taking away from, no matter how subtle or slight of turning an extracurricular writing can creep in, in order to make additional books/writings seem acceptable as complimentary to the Bible or somehow through human error left out.
That just casts doubt on God’s Keeping Power to watch over His Word and preserve His testament and love towards us in order that we might know Him as He truly is.
I found this video to be a very enlightening and delightful video to see How God placed the descendants of Adam to Methuselah in the order of their names, (God had a Hand in that) in communicating His Gospel message. He is the completion of all things as He communicates Himself through His Word. Everything is so precise and significant in its proper place and order, despite mankind’s failings. Just goes to show, how God trumps sin with His great power and Love for us.
Just this last week, I heard the application of the book of Enoch being added to the scripture in the book of Jude. I was almost, carried away in relaxing that one slight aversion of displacing the name Enoch for the book of Enoch.
I believe God is swift in making sure our feet remain steadfast and secure in the Light of His Word. He is the Father of lights where there is no shadow of turning. James 1:17
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
Thank you for upholding His Word, which is God/Christ Himself. May God’s Word always, always, always, be Honored with Godly reverence and the Holy fear of the Holy Spirit in the Light of His Great Love for mankind.
That scripture is speaking of the Book of Revelation. The Bible had NOT been put together when this was written. I believe we need to be very careful how we treat the Bible but the Catholic Church removed books from it and hid them from the common people because they believed that they were too holy for them.

I first heard this revelation given by Chuck Missler years ago, a great teacher, and others have also thought on this subject but they gave credit to missler as they learned it from him.

I learned this in college and by teachers like Pitterson who 8 cited. Excited to hear Missler taught it as well.

In the New Testament, Enoch is referenced in the Gospel of Luke, the Epistle to the Hebrews, and in the Epistle of Jude, Jesus read the book of Enoch. Many books were left out by the ones who culled the books to make the Bible.
Enoch obeyed the Lord and taught the people with power. He taught about Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and the Holy Ghost. Some people believed Enoch and wanted to follow the Lord. Enoch had authority from God to baptize. "The Book of Enoch was considered as scripture in the Epistle of Barnabas (4:3)[and by many of the early Church Fathers, such as Athenagoras,] Clement of Alexandria,Irenaeus and Tertullian, who wrote c. 200 that the Book of Enoch had been rejected by the Jews because it purportedly contained prophecies pertaining to Christ.

The book of Enoch was never consider scripture by the Jewish people. When people mention the book of Enoch being quoted in the Bible they have no idea whether or not the book of Enoch we currently have is what they read in the first century.

I have known that Methuselah was the oldest man in the Bible since I was a very little girl because of my Mom. She grew up in the Church and brought us children up going to Church as well but at home when Mom would comment on someone being old she would always say they were as old as Methuselah and I would ask her why she would say that and she told me when I was about 4 that he was the oldest man in the Bible to ever live. That always stuck with me all these many years later. I still remember asking my Mom that. I also thought he had a funny name compared to the names I knew.

I have the Book of Enoch that was written by Enoch servant of God. It does not say anything of what you are saying. Since Satan can only mimic. Enoch from Cain's line, meaning on that side of the family tree/fence wrote 2 books and named Enoch to confuse the people.
Enoch is a historical account of things that were happening in their days. And the Days of Noah. Which everyone of Israel already knew by word of mouth from teaching of oral history after the flood. And the book explains that evil angels did get involved with mankind and corrupted all of it. And yes they did come back and began to mingle with women again. And Enoch tells us the fate of those watcher angels that were teaching man to make weapons and mating with women. Who are in chains right now awaiting judgement day.

QUESTION for Pastor Alan - would IMMINENCE without INTIMACY have the same effect? No, it would be fear-based, so the criteria is that IMMINENCE creates a LOVE-BASED response of INTIMACY and not PUNITIVE-BASED response of dread. So, we act to PLEASE our parents and not displease them, which is distinct from not getting caught and punished by them. Another question - if the Book of Enoch is not HS-INSPIRED, then who wrote it?

Very well done. The mirror image of His coming, is as His first coming. The disciples believed they were saved, before the cross. They believed Jesus was going to set up His kingdom, and He could not die. Today those in church will say if you accept the gospel, you are saved. The scripture says we have to obey the gospel to be saved.(1 Pet. 4:17, 2 Thess. 1:7-8) Those that reject the truth, God will make them believe in a lie. 2Thess. 2:11. We cannot walk in presumptuous sin. Elijah announced to the baal prophets that he alone was left. That is why he ran from Jezebel. Your teaching of Enoch brought out we cannot assume. As the saying goes, "If the Lord gives you a prophetic word, don't make a sentence out of it." PS: The gospel is Mt, Mk,Lk,Jn.

I think every mature believer should prayerfully read Enoch 1. It helped me understand the events of Genesis 6 a lot better and changed the way I saw world history.
2 and 3 are questionable, so I pass on those. Enoch 1 chapter 4 is quoted in Jude about the fallen angels who are chained up for judgement. These are the fathers of the giants. It also explains where witchcraft and mad genetic science came from. It explains why I've seen demons that look like hybrid mythical creatures along with tales from other cultures. Recurring testimonies all over the globe. It's important not to get caught up in it but definitely sheds light on Bible history. I hope to walk with God like Enoch did.
It helped explain a dream I had long before I'd heard of CERN or the hybrid biological engineering that is being experiments that are being done now. Enoch 2 and three are definitely not written by the same person as 1 Enoch. They gave me the same nausea that I get when I'm in the presence of evil.
Chapter 1 of Enoch I’ve noticed everyone is saying is good then the rest is questionable, what you all are saying reminds me of these Heavy Metal, Christian, Rock, worship music band on how they come out gentle, praising God and honoring him and all that, THEN after a couple of songs out comes the smoke, fire, screaming and weird stuff. 😮

Loved what you said regarding the birth and death of Methuselah but not with “everything” you said regarding Book or Enoch. The Book of Enoch I listen to and read along with didn’t say anything about our worshiping the cosmos or anything other than God. It talked about how even the cosmos are required to come out when they are suppose to, etc and if they don’t they are punished. I wasn’t familiar with the Angel you cited among the list of fallen Angels in The Book of Enoch that I read and allowed to play EVERY night while I slept and God gave me new revelation. I believe that was one of the main reasons CERN was built to try to release the Angels from their prisons in the 🌍 and outer realms to obtain more knowledge and power from them before they are casted into the lake of fire 🔥 and brimstone. The book I read provided the most logical explanation for how all the different creatures we have in the earth originated (cross breeding and sexual perversion of Angels with humans and animals). The 📖 I read confirmed a lot of things God had shared with me that I wasn’t able to discuss with anyone else. Thank you!

There are 3 Books of Enoch...three different versions. Books 2 & 3 are not written by the author of 1 Enoch. Two and 3 are the ones that made me cringe and get nauseated, just by skimming a few pages, so I knew they were not of God.
Holy Spirit has guided me away from certain current translations, preachers, doctrines, even "Christian" music, in the very same way.
