I think it's not under rated it's more people r not interested in doing hand embroidery. Everyone does not so much patience and time to do it as nowadays I hardly see anyone doing knitting .my mom is expert in knitting but with time it is also getting faded and now days people get beautiful knitted items .this is my thinking .may be I am wrong or I see it this way .I enjoy embroidery and I do embroidery a lot .these days girls like to watch beauty tips videos .they have million subscribers 😢
